YEKCIM said:Beautiful shots, Kyle, but SHAME on you for tempting me to move to DSLR-world. The wife of me shot tons of pix with her brand new D200 on our trip to VA/NC last week and I sure envied her...at least until I got back and d/l my S5200 shots. I gotta say that I'll take my S5200 with the 38-380mm zoom range over her D200 with kit lens. Disclaimer: I *do* know that with a superior lens the D200 would clean my clock, image wise.

Thanks Ed. The lens I use mostly is the 18-70mm and I'm thinking that its not one of the better ones. I'm beginning to notice that it's kind of soft.
I believe the "official" kit lens for the D200 is the 18-200mm VR. That is one heck of a lens. I've been reading reviews on the new D80 kit lens, the 18-135mm, and they seem to be very favorable. I think I'm going to upgrade to that sometime next year. Oh and that D80. WOW! A buddy of mine just upgraded from the D70s and it is a SWEEEET camera. Though for now, the D50 is suiting me just fine (oh and not to tempt you any further, the prices are pretty good, especially on ebay with all the people upgrading to the D80). Plus, just think, you and your DW and switch lenses. With her being the pro and all, I see a 70-200 f/2.8 in your families future!
