I signed up thru CD yesterday. No "welcome" email rec'd yet, but the $1 for the trial membership showed on my cc account.
Tried to log on to my account on the website but could not using the usual username and password that I chose.
Called the toll free # and got a barely understandable (heavy accent) person who said odd things like "your membership may not have been pushed through" ("pushed through"-- like with a broom???) and asked me, "do you have your full name?" (ummm, I don't have it handy, hold on, let me look it up.
)
She ended up having put me on hold to talk to someone else about my concerns (never a good sign) and came back telling me to wait another 24 hrs to see if I get a welcome email. She said my info is not in their system yet.
I'm getting bad vibes about this company. First of all, every time there has been a delay in getting the welcome email for an offer, I've run into difficulty. Secondly, how is it that my info is not in their system, yet my cc has been billed????
I don't like when they have all of my info but I have nothing to show for my sign-up........no member #, no access to website, no correspondance from them.
