Autographs Restarted?

Does anyone know if characters have restarted autographs on DCL sailings?

I get why they aren't doing hugs - but what's up with autographs? I thought they proved a long time ago it isn't so much spread via touching objects.

you cant exactly hand over a book and pen if you're not allowed to stand next to the character....

They always haver a person with them..... who you also can't hand that stuff too.,,, duh sorry about my temporary bout of stupid.

The autographs also add to the time people have to wait in line. Pictures are easy - snap and done. Autographs it's open the book to the right page (many people don't in spite of the character attendants telling people to open the book to the page they want), fumble with the pen, hand it off, hand it back... And repeat for every book someone has. That makes lines much longer and they are trying to avoid that.

But those people are not allowed to hold any of your stuff at this moment (purses, phones etc) so it wouldnt make sense if they could hold your book then.

Thought they started to use your cameras on PC sailing. Maybe it’s a different cruise I’m thinking of but I thought they just started again?

Didn't they stop doing autographs before covid? I know they stopped offering the option to leave pillow cases, picture mats, etc. for "mass" signatures before covid.

You’re correct about leaving items for autographs that has been discontinued for a long time.
Since Covid the characters have not signed for guests waiting in line for meet and greets

Havent heard anything about it but things are going fast. I do hooe actual meets return soon. I was in Disneyland Oaris past week and there they have returned so it would be hard to go back to socially distanced meets when I sail in may

Just got off the magic yesterday. No character autographs, and the staff wouldn't take your picture - you had to ask another guest. (Everyone was happy to do it, of course!)
