My daughter and I are going to Disney next month and as I will be standing in line with her to get autographs I would like to go ahead and get them as well. She will have a book and I was hoping to bring some other things for characters to sign. For example my dad is a big Donald Duck comic fan (collected them as a boy) so I got a low value one and am going to have Donald sign it for him for Father's day. Has anyone else had anything else turn out really good?

People use pillowcases, t-shirts, the Little Golden Books, hats (ear variety included). I made my own photography book on shutterfly a few years ago and had characters sign it.
Just remember characters can't sign anything that you're wearing at the time.
Love the comic book idea!

Thanks. I think he will love it. I like the shutterfly ideas but since this is our first trip we don't have an photos to put in it.

We learned the hard way that they will not sign a shirt if you are wearing it! Guess we should have figured but thought it would be neat to wear it that day and have everyone sign it.

I saw someone else's idea once to take a mini cast iron frying pan and metallic markers for Rapunzel to sign. It was SUPER cute. She decorated it too, I think she put Rapunzel's sun symbol on the bottom of the pan and had a purple bow around the handle? Something like that. She did enough to take some home for nieces.

We've done the book, and this year wanted something different, so I bought these big white letters at Michaels, a big C and a big A for each of my kids, and will have them sign that. I figured it was easier than the hassle of a pillowcase, and unlike the book it could be hung in their room for them to see.

I did a poster once and a storybook another time. We have so many autograph books, it seems crazy to buy another one each trip.

If you have a broken arm or leg; they will sign the cast. Ask the doctor where they plan on cutting the cast so signature are not there.

What did you have them use to sign the little golden books? I've got one that I want them to sign, but some of the pages are really dark and my metallic markers aren't showing up well when I test them out...

We are bringing our Disney Monopoly game board this time. I haven’t tried it before so I’m crossing my fingers it will work well and not turn into a smudged up mess.

My son had them sign a baseball cap that he'd got at Disney - still one of his favorite souvenirs. And the memory of Goofy messing around with the hat and not giving it back was great!

One of my favorites was the stormtrooper coin banks I had signed for my brothers birthday. Lots of white space for signatures! Another good idea is to bring an assortment of sharpie colors to make it more colorful.

I bought reusable canvas bags off of Amazon and had the characters sign them with sharpies on one of my trips. I loved having something to remember the trip with that I can use every day.

My DS bought a Mickey hand and had the characters sign it. It's a little bulky to carry but turned out super cute. If my picture uploaded you can see it behind Donald Duck
