How do I go about get an autographed pic/card for DD's birthday. Is this something I include with my room request or after check in? Also, is it a hit and miss type of thing or are they pretty good about it.

We will be staying at POFQ.

It is hit or miss. If you want something special for your daughter I would arrange and pay for something rather than count on them to do something for you.

It all depends how busy they are whether they will be able to do this for you.

It's hit or miss, but I believe the best advice is to go to the lobby concierge desk after you check-in and make the request with them. Whether or not they can do it, depends on the availability of a runner, that's why it's not something they can guarantee.

We have celebrated two birthdays, DS and mine, and had balloons in the room both times. Just make sure to mention it to your CM when you check in. When we took DS, it was a surprise, and he told the CM who checked us in...and there was a huge bunch of balloons waiting for him when we got back that night. He was just thrilled!

I mentioned it when I made the reservation. Upon check in they gave my son a bithday pin. Second day, there were baloons and an autographed picture from Goofy.

We got an autographed picture of mickey and minnie when my son nearly lost a finger in one, the bathroom door-not the same as requesting, b ut we still got one

I spent my 4? birthday at WDW with my two girlfriends a few weeks ago. I asked for a birthday button when we checked in. The morning of my birthday, 2 balloons along with a card & picture of ºoº was delivered to our room. It was a very nice surprise. The last time I spent my birthday at WDW was on my honeymoon 22 years ago. I don't really feel any older now than I did then :).

I just got back Tues and celebrated my BD and my anniversary. We got an anniv. card from Minnie and I got a BD card from Ariel. It was noted on our reservation. Last year we got a Mickey and Minnie card for our anniv. so we are 2 for2. Also, while standing at the podium to check in for Ohana breakfast we watched the hostess filling out birthday pictures(signing Micky's name for him) to put on tables.

1) Ask for balloons and a card at the Concierge Desk or Front Desk.
2) They will put in the request to the "Front Desk Runner".
3) The requests will be honored.
4) Delivery times/days might not be honored.
5) They make up the cards and balloons at the resort back room.
6) The Runner has many duties, so it has to fit into the schedule.
