This will be our 1st trip to Disney World with my 2 DS...ages 5 and almost 3 (he turns 3 the day we get back). I want to get autograph books for them to have at the parks. Do I just wait and buy them there or is there a place to get them ahead of time that is a bit cheaper?

TIA!

You certainly can get them ahead of time and they will be cheaper. When I booked our trip last year I had the idea that I was going to get generic autograph books for my 3 kids and found Disney ones at Family Dollar. I'm pretty sure they were $3. Although, we're going again in March and now they don't have them. :( Another idea is to buy solid colored books and Disney stickers and let them decorate the books themselves.

DD6 makes scrapbooks after every trip, so we don't actually buy autograph books. What we do get is 4x6 spiral bound perforated note codes and have the characters sign on the unruled side. They are all kept in the spiral ring and not ripped out until we get home. She then puts those cards on a scrapbook page along with the character picture above it and decorates that. That way we have the picture with the autograph and can flip through one book instead of several.

i got ours on ebay for cheap. along with alanyard/wallet.

another great idea i've seen is to buy a frame with a photo mat...remove the mat, bring it to the parks and have it autographed. then frame a family pic with all the autographs.
