Autograph books? How and where?

I can't beliee we leave for Disney day after tomorrow!!

I want my kids to have autograph book. Do they sell them somewhere before I go? Disney Store? Would Disney Store price be same as shops in the park?

I'd rather have it before we get there though. Has anyone made one out of another notebook? What is a good size? Must have features?

We've never done the autograph thing before. THANKS!

You can buy them at any gift shop, even in the hotels. They were $6 in Sept.

The characters will sign any autograph book. Personally, I like the disney ones. Kindof adds to the "magic".

If you have a AAA store nearby, you might want to try there. We booked a trip through AAA last year, and they supplied free Disney autograph books for the three boys. You might also call the hotel and ask to have them there when you check in. I don't know if they'll do it, but it's worth a call.

Just a thought:

We'd be going down I-95 from SC/GA. Are there Disney Outlets in the outlet malls? and do you think they would have them?

I am so excited you are leaving sooner than I am...we leave in 15 days!

We have 4 kids and have done the autograph books many times over and they are great for a while and then they sit in a drawer. I know many people ahve make scrapbooks with them and that is great, but as a mom of four, I simply dont have time to do that! (althought it would be cool)

We let the kids go to DD and get their favorite shirt and they get the shirt signed!! Sharpie Markers work great and we take our favorite colors with us (you cant buy sharpies there). We hold a contest to see who can get the most autographs and the kids have a blast. Our kids are 17, 12, 12 and 5! This year my 17 wants to get autographs on a hat. Just another option for you, if you are into that thing. Our kids love being able to "wear" their trip all year long!

Great idea about the shirts. How do they do in the wash?

Also wanted to tell you that I found out there is a Disney Character Premiere outlet store in the outlets at St/ Augustine, FL. I called and they have the autograph books for $2.99! We're going right by and I am stopping in for two of them.

The shirts do great in the wash....my daughter just happens to have hers on today, cause she is getting excited about leaving...the autographs are a little faded, but....she still remembers each of them and they hold a certain failure to them! When we get new ones this trip, going to make small throw pillows for the girls beds, so they still have them to toss around and play with! Great news about the books! Have a fantastic trip!
