After seeing all of the wonderful designs that you talented people have made, I've decided to make autograph books for my girls. I was hoping for some advice on how to make my plan work.

I want to have a section for each park with the characters that are primarily in that park (Incredibles at DHS, Fairies at MK, etc) and a few park specific blank pages. I'm also planning a section for all of our character meals. Where I am running into trouble is those characters that appear at multiple parks. With characters like Mickey who have different costumes for different parks, I can put those into each park. But what about characters like Mary Poppins, Chip and Dale, Stitch, etc? I don't think we are going to want multiple autographs from them.

I was thinking of making a separate section for those character that are in multiple places. If the kids really want a second autograph we can put it on a blank park page. Is this too much? I want to make sure that there is a page for all of the "regular" characters and some extra spots for those unique ones.

What do you creative people think? Is this a good way to organize the autograph book? I was going for something a little different.

Honestly, I think that would be a difficult way to organize your book. For example: we got autographs from Donald, Daisy, Tigger, Eeyore, Goofy, and Pluto at DHS, even though I expected them to be at MK (Tigger we saw again in Epcot). We also went to the Epcot character meet and greet at ropedrop and got Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and Pluto with only a 5 minute wait. We arranged ours in alphabetical order, with character meals at the end, and all were easy to find. Good luck! :goodvibes

I'm doing three books for our trip in May. One a general every charater book, one book for Pixie Hollow and one book for the Charater meals.

I made 2 books
1 for character meals (we did 5 meals) and another one regular.
What i did was start the book with the common characters, fab 6, chip and dale, and then not separated by anything but all the possible charaters for each park in sequence, like for ANimal Kingdom - Miss Bunny, Thumper, Baloo, Flik, Jimminy Cricket (which we havent found), Terk. For DS Mr and Ms INcredible, Up characters, Frozone, Mini Einsteins, Buzz, Woody, Green Army Men, Prince Caspian, Power Rangers, Mike and Sully (someone told me they have stamps, but they didnt, and the boys were frustrated to leave the page blank), and so on..
What made it easier to find the pages was to leave all the charaters we usually find together in sequence, even though not in alfabetical order, like the mini eisteins, chip and dale, mary poppins and penguin, woody and buzz, Up characters

:goodvibes

I do one book and put all the characters in alphabetical order. Doesn't matter which park you see them in, it is always super easy to find their card while waiting in line.
