On the 15th of every month, DVC draws money out for one of our contracts and our dues. Only the money for the points came out today and not the dues money.

Any ideas why??

See the thread "Dues are due today question" below. I think that answers this question.

Why the popcorn smilie??

The thread you referenced didn't answer my question. Our dues come out the 15th of every month. Today they didn't come out. I have our dues bill right here in front of me and it says "do not pay from this statement. Dues will be drawn out on 1/15/09."

Am I missing something? We have a cash ressie on Saturday and I want to know if this is going to goof that up.

No idea, but so far neither withdrawal is showing on my online bank account (which is fine with me since DH's pay period just switched and he doesn't get paid till the 16th now :headache: )

I don't think that it does answer this question, that was about someone paying monthly but on their CC, not on auto withdrawal from the bank. The automatic withdrawals are usually right on time.

Check again tomorrow. The member website says that a transaction is pending.

I believe it might just be a timing issue. My loan payment also showed up this morning but not the dues payment. My guess is the dues payment will show up tomorrow morning, with today's date on it.

I would think that in order for the loan payment to have shown up first thing today it would have been initiated last night, on the 14th. Depending on how the banks process those transactions a timing difference of a few hours could push one of them into the next day's postings.

"I signed up for monthly this year and called yesterday after I faxed the info. I was told they won't even deduct my Jan amount until almost February (he said 10 days -2 weeks) I asked if that would make me late and he said no they do not consider them past due until after Feb 14th"

Sorry, I should have referenced to what I was talking about. But, the OP is right, this doesn't answer the original question.

We pay our dues yearly instead of monthly. On our yearly bill it states that we overpaid in 2008 due to a calculation error and that the overage amount has been credited towards our balance due.:) Is it possible that you also may have overpaid in 2008 and that you will not be charged your monthly dues fee in Jan. to compensate? I believe that dues are paid one month in the rear so that means the dues you pay in Jan. 2009 are actually for Dec. 2008. The dues you pay in Feb. 2009 will be at the new rate and will be for Jan. 2009.
Someone please correct me if I am wrong. The only way to know for sure is to call MS.

The dues deducted in January are the new rates and are for 2009. They are listed on the statement received a couple of weeks ago.

Mine did not come out either. They maybe a day behind.

I don't think that your bank will display it until after it closes today. So check tomorrow to see if it got taken out.

I just checked my bank account and the dues withdrawl is listed with a status of "pending" which I expect will clear at the end of the day.

The popcorn smiley because I was curious about this issue too. BTW I checked the Member Website and it shows that my dues have been payed for January.

My monthly dues withdrawal hasn't taken place yet.

My loan payment showed up in my bank acct today, but the dues still haven't. Maybe tomorrow, otherwise it'll be Tuesday.
