It will be many years before I buy a new vehicle but I can dream! I love the look of the Honda Element. Any owners here? Do you like it?

Peggy

The Elements look like a lot of fun - I love that you can just hose down the interior!

For me, my auto lust is a Mini Cooper. Somehow, I just don't think it will work for the carpool pick-up. Darn it.

My auto lust is a Toyota Sequoia or Highlander!!! For some reason I do not like the look of the Honda Element but thats just me!!!

I'm sorry but I just had to drop in and say that I think the Element may be the ugliest car ever. But thats just my opinion...my mom just got a CRV and really likes it...

The two I want are a Mini Cooper, and a BMW Z4...both so adorably cute!

My car lust is well, I've got a couple. I want an old mustang. I also want a Spyder. :hyper:

I don't really want one, but I do think the Smart cars are adorable. I don't think I'd feel safe in one....it seems kinda like being a hamster in a plastic ball on the freeway.

omg - if I saw that on the highway...I think I would cause an accident from laughing so hard (or need a hose down of the interior of my car from laughing so hard! hehehe)

I'm sorry - but I have to agree with TalkisCheap here...I think the element is pretty fugly myself. Way too boxy for my likes.

My auto lust is a Cadillac Escalade! Can't figure out a way to get rid of my 2 year old Chevy Trailblazer EXT without DH freakin out!

I love the Element!!! Yes it's boxy but I LIKE boxy looking cars. Besides it's got the neat reverse open back doors and it's very rough and ready looking. It looks like it's designed to take some abuse inside it. I'd love to be able to open my car up and hose down the inside.

We are the *very* proud owners of a Sunset Orange 2003 Honda Element..

We *love* this car.. it fits all or our needs.. it's decent on gas.. it's wicked roomie inside (my 6'2" husband has head room AND legroom in the front and back)..

Our dog adores it because we take him to the beack, the park, whatever and he can just go nuts since we know we can hose it out..

it truly is a wonderful car.. it's a *great* roadtrip vehicle too.. with the stadium back seats, everyone has a great view of the road, sites..

we *love* it.. oh and it's cheap :)

but I'm no fool.. it's not the prettiest thing out there.. but it is just about the most functional.. we've had ours over a year now.. and dread the day "Hugh" isn't in our lives!

i really want the new PT cruiser convertible, but thats a long time coming...we just got our van last year!

A friend of mine has a Mini...the most fun I have ever had driving an automobile, I love this thing it, it is glued to the road. :)

I agree....a friend of mine had one and just traded it in for a big truck. He was so tired of everyone making fun of him and it LOL....I think it looks like a mini hearse.

I saw an Element on the way home from work today, and as I passed it, I wondered why in the world would anyone want something so ugly! EEEEEEEWWWWWWWWW!!

I love all of the Honda products. DH recently bought a Civic Hybrid and we also have an Odyssey. I would love to have an
S 2000, but a 2 seater is not in the picture anytime soon. If I were the tyoe of mom to buy my kid a car, I would send him off to college in an Element.

We just got the SMART Cars at the Mercedes dealership in London they are quite the littel car the drive really nice for a car with a 70 HP 0.8 litre 3 cylender Diesel motor in it. Top speed is governed at 120KPH.
My vice for cars would be a BMW 318Ti the little hatchback one or the WRX STi with the subaru race motor in it for a truck I love the Avalanche or the Hummer I could live with a BMW X5 also.

My 19 yo neice says the Element looks like a giant tissue box! :D To each his own is what I say. It's not to my taste but I don't have to buy it if I don't want to, right? My car lust is for a BMW convertible.

Wow! I think these cars are cute :D It seems like a great car for a college student/young adult. The fact that you can hose it out seems like a big plus.

Pixie Dust to the OP--I hope some surprise money comes your way so you can buy one soon!
