Aulani Weather in November????

Just read lots of rain in November?? Anyone who has been?

First thing to remember is that in Hawaii, the EAST or windward sides of the islands are the rainy sides. Almost all Hawaiian resorts are on the leeward/dry sides of the islands, including Aulani. :cutie:

Winter is the rainy season for Hawaii but November is pretty early for that IMO. We have been to Aulani a few times and most of them in January or February. Though we did have some rain during one trip, it was because there was a pretty big system that hung out for a day or 2. That is not the typical occurrence, even in winter.

Weather is pretty static in Hawaii on the leeward sides (resort/dry sides), with the weather being a very nice temperature for the bulk of the year with rare exceptions. We go to Hawaii every year in the winter and have not once found rain to be a problem. Showers are usually brief and passing. :sunny:

Hope that helps! Happy planning! :flower:

As Hawaii has almost every microclimate known to planet Earth, I find this website much more accurate as it breaks down the various areas of each island. The link below is for Oahu since that is where Aulani is located, then you click on the area of Oahu for which you want to see predicted weather:

I have found that lots of new visitors to Hawaii freak out when they see rain in the forecast almost every day, (much like they freak out about the same forecast here in central FL), because the general weather sites are going to give general forecasts. :cutie:
