Aulani Availability at 7 Months

I’m looking at June availability for 2023. I want a 2 bedroom. Is that likely to be available? I can book in 2 weeks and starting to sweat. Lol. I see ocean view available. It also see couple days are showing unavailable. Are ocean views normally available at 7 months?
About June 8 to July 6 is the second highest DVC demand time of the year at Aul, just behind Christmas week and almost everything can sometimes be gone by 7-months out. Nevertheless, ocean view rooms are usually the ones to fill last, particularly when seeking a 2BR, so you might have a chance.

Thanks. I hope so

I booked a Poolside Garden View Studio at Aulani a few days after my 7-month booking window for March 27-31 (Monday through Friday) with no problems. But it may have just been a lucky find.

My family surprised me with the cruise this past year and all my sisters and nieces and nephew were also there. After the cruise we had about eight studios that they had no problem getting at seven months.

We've gone for President's week in Feb a couple of times and the resort is sold out when we get there. We were able to get a standard view studio once but it's usually pool view. This year we have a glut of points from covid related baking so we're staying in a 1-bedroom and we have pool view. I've always walked it. For me here and Grand Californian are must walk at 7 months.

I have tried for a week to book a studio for the middle of June and have failed miserably. I put a waitlist in for a OV and SV, but I think I’ll change that to a PV or IS, hearing how scarce the SV rooms are. I’ve tried all the tricks I know at the 7:55 time, but someone else is quicker or is a really professional “walker”. I feel like I’m in the Hunger Games and the odds are not in my favor!

I had the perfect trip for Spring Break 2020 booked when the world was turned upside down and then moved it to June 2020 when everything was legit shut down. We all know how that turned out. No trouble booking then! 😝

OV and IV are the biggest categories so they.have the best WL odds. June is tough. July will be much easier if you can wait.

When you are dealing with a 7 month booking, the chances of it being a walker are pretty slim…not that it doesn’t happen ever, but it is not a strategy used to the degree it is at 11 months because it doesn’t always work…I myself have been blocked by an owner when trying it at 7 months.

To me, it just sounds like a very popular place in June and that there are just a lot of people who don’t own there trying to get those views.

The other piece is that while the system shows it available, there is no way to know if it’s one room left or more since Aulani owners have had 4 months to book those rooms already.

Just following up that our June waitlist came through for a OV studio for 5 nights!!! Super excited!! Now we can proceed with booking plans to visit another island on either the front or backside of Aulani!
Yahooooo that’s such great news! Glad it happened quick too!
