We have had a wonderful trip planned for a year now--supposed to leave next week. I have had a medical emergency and am not able to travel for a little while so we have had to cancel!
We purchased the dining plan and had all our ADRs booked...what a disappointment! Anyway, we have rebooked for the last two weeks of August (free dining!!) but I am very concerned that it will be too hot to enjoy anything. We have only gone in the spring (March-April) but there is no other available time for us. We will plan again for next April but I can't wait that long for another trip. Any advice on weather and how to deal with the heat?

, I did not find it unbearable. I live in Michigan and we had a pretty hot and humid summer ourselves last year. If anything would be a problem it would be the humidity. There are lots of ways to cool off (drink lots of water, indoor air conditioned attractions and restaurants)and I would leave the park during the hottest part of the afternoon for a dip in your resort pool or even a nap (which I can never do
). The parks were not crowded at all (except Saturday and Sunday - It was Labor Day weekend) so except those days we never waited more than 5 -10 minutes for anything. At Animal Kingdom we rode Kali River Rapids 3 times in a row without having to exit our raft and could have kept going but we were drenched!
We were cooled off then for sure!
Guess I just wasn't quick enough typing...
