There will be no way to space the cots. With my accommodations of staying 6 feet away from everyone, setting up the cots, then putting them away will be impossible. I have no other choice.Really?!?!![]()
The worst for me right now is trying how to deal with the first two weeks of tears without picking them up and comforting them, not to mention chasing the ones who try to make a run for it out the door. Parents normally come into the classroom to get an idea of what we do so they feel comfortable leaving their darlings with me. They sign their kids in and out inside the classroom. Some stay for breakfast to help. Parents are not allowed in the building. How the heck am I supposed to do arrivals and dismissals safely? The first 6 weeks of laying down routines and making them love school and their teachers is SO HARD under normal conditions. I just don't even know right now...
