Hi. We just booked an Adventures by Disney trip to France next August. Unfortunately, there is no visit to Disneyland Paris planned for the tour. As a Disney addicted family, we need to visit Disneyland Paris on our own. Is August (2-4) a good/bad time to go? Also, is it worth staying on the property? If so, I read about some kind of Fast Pass option for suites. Anyone know what that is all about? Are 2 days long enough at the parks or should I plan for more? We probably won't get back to Disneyland Paris again anytime soon. Any help would be much appreciated!

August tends to be on the busier side as its the school holidays across Europe. If you stay in the Suites you get VIP fastpasses which enable you to use the fast pass queue for rides with fast passes. However you have to weigh up the cost of a suite as they can run to many hundred of € per night.

2 nights should be enough if you stay on site as you will benefit from EMH plus the parks are open longer so you can spend a long time in the parks.

Thanks Nikki! What is EMH? Does Disneyland Paris offer regular Fast Passes the way they do in the States?

No problem:goodvibes EMH is Extra Magic Hours in which the Disneyland park open 2 hours earlier for hotel guests & Dream AP holders, Some of the rides in Fantasyland & Discoveryland are open. They also sometimes do EMH for the Studios but they are rare.

You can get normal fast passes with your park pass too:thumbsup2
