Room only discount for travel dates between August 15 and September 28 with some exclusions (such as LM rooms).

This could be available for booking May 9, with Visa holders getting in on May 6.

15% off - Art of Animation suites

25% off - Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans-Riverside
30% off  Animal Kingdom Lodge standard rooms, Beach Club, Beach Club Villas, BoardWalk Inn, BoardWalk Villas, Old Key West, Villas at Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Club

Since room prices are lower in late Aug, is it fair to assume I can't really go online to price check with current summer deals. My trip will be slightly less than if I went on now and choose a July date. Does that make sense?

Of course, three days or so as always. Mirroring what's offered now, that's 15% for values, 20% for moderates (and Wilderness Lodge), 30% for deluxes. Remmber too that in some cases, this can save more than free dining...just gotta do the math.

Agreed! If we stay deluxe (which is the plan this year) the RO discount almost always saves us more money. And we don't like to have a sit down meal each day, so the dining plan doesn't work for us anyway.

There's a decent chance this drops on May 9th as well folks. I'll keep my ear to the ground and see if anything else pops up.

I hate it that so many in late-August are missing out on free dining, and I hope this will at least bridge the gap. Hang in there guys, it will come soon.

If my previously booked room type (CR, garden wing standard view) is currently unavailable for my dates, does that mean that it will definitely NOT be available for discounts if/when they are released?
I know that I can always upgrade my view if necessary.....

Oh yes...we will be loving our pool time in the August heat!!!!! We are the family with the 3 look alike daughters each a year apart counting down the days.........
