August Room only code?

Are there any codes out for room only in mid August (August 13th to be exact). Need a place for one night before our stay at the Polynesian and was thinking of trying one of the other resorts. Can a standard room at AKL sleep 5 or do I need a deluxe room (remember it is only for one night)? Would I be better with a hotel in DTD - any suggestions?

I have already been on Mousesavers and the only discount beside AAA starts on Aug. 19th, I need Aug. 13th. So I guess AAA is the best I can do. I will start searching the DTD hotels for one night. I am a little leary after our experience at the Doubletree in DTD two years ago. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. The entire floor to our room was soaked. They blamed it on the recent hurricane but never offered to move us to a "dry" room. Just gave us towels to step on so our feet wouldn't get wet - yuck!

Those are great rates, but the OP is visiting prior to this date range; on 8/13/06. I missed that when i first read the message. I did a little quick research and couldn't find anything with a discount, other than PIN discounts which were received mid July.

Has anyone been able to get the discount for dates prior to 8/27/06. The official WDW site says the code is only available 8/27-9/30/06, whereas mousesavers says 8/19-9/30/06??
