August or September

I have been to disney many times but usually off peak. I want to plan a trip with my wife and 3 boys for either late August or September. Which would be the better time to go?

I'd say probably September because as time goes on more and more kids will be back in school.

Try to avoid Labor Day weekend.

Both August and September have rain, heat and possible risk for hurricanes.

I'd say September is less crowded.
