My fiance and I are going to WDW for our honeymoon between August 25 and September 1st.

I've heard that the days are hot and humid, with frequent rainshowers. What are the evenings like? Should we be packing pants and light sweaters, or will that be a waste of space in our luggage?

We've been to WDW in August, and I would say that you won't need the sweaters when you are outside- it stays very warm and humid in the evenings. However, you will probably want to have a sweater to use inside restaurants and other places as the A/C tends to be quite cold.

Hi,

We went in August last year and found the evenings VERY warm i.e. still park wear weather.

Just stick to shorts and T-Shirts IMHO.

We went in August of 2001, we wore shorts and tanks the entire time. We brought short sleeve t's and never even put them on in the evenings. It was extremely humid and warm every night we were there, and this was the last week in August, to Sept. 2nd.

Was there August 2002. Nights are warm, but I didn't find them to be uncomfortable. Do not need pants or sweaters. But like the other post said, you might want a light sweater to wear to dinner, shows, etc. even the lobby can be a bit cool.
