I might be in trouble. I haven't started packing or done much laundry and we leave in 12 hours for the airport. I am so excited but can't seem to get focused on what needs to be done. It doesn't help that I am exhausted from getting ready for company that arrived last Friday, leaves tomorrow when we do and having my mom's 70th birthday party yesterday. But most importantly, my FE gifts are done

Don't be surprised if we don't make it. I'm still very nervous about flying in the day of the cruise. I'm still sitting at home right now while most everyone else is waiting in Vancouver. We're all packed and ready (finally). The shuttle will pick us up and take us to the airport early aam. We fly out at about 7. We're supposed to land in Vancouver at 11:30 but then we've still got to get through customs, get to the cruise terminal and through all the boarding lines, etc. It could take us awhile.

If we miss you at the meet, maybe we'll catch up to some of you on board.

Don't worry! You will be fine...Vancouver airport takes no time and midday hopefully there will be no traffic etc getting to the terminal! Crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly for you!

We are finally in Vancouver and happy to have finished a Loooonngg drive. Well it felt long anyway...We drove today from visiting family in Vernon, BC and what should have been five hours took about 7....also...through mountains and winding up and down roads....glad I was driving or I may have been nauseous! Driving was a bit nervewracking in the giant beast of an SUV that we rented! But we made it...and the views on the drive were incredible! Now just settling in at the Fairmont Vancouver and looking forward to getting on the ship tomorrow!!! Can't wait to meet you all. Oh and thankfully our FE box that I shipped arrived...and luckily I just remembered to go pick it up from the concierge at the hotel! I put on our Disney bag tags and am ready to go! See you all soon!

Not going on this one but am taking the daughter down to see the ship. I'll be the guy looking over the edge with jealousy. Anyone that's willing to pick me up a couple of the Alaska Totem Pole 3" Mickey Pluto Vinylmation would be great. They wont let me on the ship. Security Reasons they say . Can't argue with that . Doesn't mean i wont try.

Don't worry!! We had a 7 am flight out of lax, and we got to yvr around 9:30. Unless u have connecting flights? And the lines at yvr isn't as crazy. We got thru customs in 20 minutes or less! We were the last ones...had to stop to use the restrooms. By the time we got thru customs, our luggages were the only few that were left on the conveyor belt. From yvr to Canada place on pub transit is probably around 30-40 minutes? Maybe less if u have a car/or go in a taxi...I would assume. U will b fine!

Does Canada place has a service where they will store our luggage for couple hrs? Thought I read that they do for a fee...but now I can't remember where. Does anyone know? Our flight home is not till the evening, and we want to just explore the vicinity for a bit, grab lunch and then head to the airport. Tia!

Anyone in similar situation? If so, what r ur plans?!!?

Got up this morning around 6am. We are staying at the Pan Pacific, 17th floor, our room faces west. We watched the Wonder cruise in to Vancouver from our hotel room! The ship is now docked on the east side of Canada Place and we can see just the back end. Having breakfast at the Bellaggio just west of the the Pan Pacific.
