When we have driven to cruises out of Canaveral, we have. But this time we have to worry about luggage weight and baggage fees so we're trying to make it in 2 check bags.

Also go to guest services right away for the Tea tickets. We went right after sailaway and were told that we got the last tickets for the tea on the last sea day. Then the day of the tea there were so many empty seats. Also get to the Princess gathering about 15 to 20 mins before it starts. Have fun! The cruise was amazing!!!

poohj80- I thought of another tip for you. There was a character dance party at 2:00 or our last sea day. Most of the characters were in the atrium, but the princesses were standing around deck 5 (I think), looking down at the dance party. Hardly anyone was interacting with the princesses for the first 10 minutes or so of the dance party. My daughter was in heaven dancing with Snow White!

We had a great time and all agreed that our servers this trip (Head Richard, Dinesh and Asst. Julio) were the best we've had (on our lowly 3 cruises!). Thank you so much for the wonderful FE gifts. So many of you must have spent hours making the scrapbook, magnets, magnet frame, the scarf...It was our first FE and it was so much fun coming back to the cabin and finding surprises.

It was so nice to meet up and put faces to these DIS names of ours. Lori - -so glad you like your new name!

We attended the D23 Expo in Anaheim this past Fri-Sun. Too crowded, but some amazing panel discussions and the Legends ceremony was fantastic. Now I am going through the shock of adjusting to the regular world in which not everyone I pass is wearing Disney clothes.

So many great photos and trip updates so far. Sorry I missed the DIS meet. First time I have missed one. We got a late start to the day and boarded late, which means there was catching up to do.

We had a wonderful time on the cruise, with just a couple of mishaps along the way. We truly lucked out with the weather. We had an amazing time on our excursions. And we even saw some orcas and whales from the ship. I would definitely take this cruise again!

Unfortunately, we both caught a cold or flu on the return trip, which we are still trying to recover from. Having even looked at our photos yet!

DH & I both came home with something, as well as another couple in our ABD group. I've managed to just about beat it, but DH is still getting the wrong of the stick with his.

It lloks like we really hit Juneau at the right time! My sister, who lives in Sitka (where they had 5 inches of rain over the weekend according to her) told me about the rain and flooding Juneau had the begiining of the week.

and thankgoodness the weather was nice while we were there!! it was so pleasant, that our boys got to go swimming more than just once (i had originally thought only on our embarkation day, could they go swimming, b/c i was anticipating cold cold weather!!) so they were happy!!

Our Credit card statement shows a DCL credit of $60 on 8/1. Did anyone else get a similar credit? Any idea what it might be for?
