The ship just pulled into port about 15 minutes ago.

I have one last hooded sweatshirt and I can't fit it in my suitcase. DH says to wear it but it's 80-85 degrees here in the mornings.

I can't believe I'm going to say this.....I agree with your DH. When DD and I flew home last week from FL we both froze on the plane - she had packed a hoodie in her carry on and it's a good thing I bought a long sleeve DelSol shirt in the airport to put on. We almost always back something long sleeve for the place since they can be so cold and blankets aren't normally provided any more.
That used to be the case but lately... too many hot flashes. I've been running a lot warmer than I used to.
Cannot believe it... one week!
The 8/2/11 sailing (today) has mostly clear weather in the ports (lucky ducks).
But for our sailing, Accuweather is still showing rain in every port for our trip.
Hope I can still take a helicopter to the glacier in Juneau when .24 inches of rain is expected!
Starwood, I will save a place for you up on the open deck with me!
I was also looking at the percentages for the chance of rain through next Thursday and it was only 10-20%. I can tell you that at least here in Seattle, we don't get heavy rain a lot. We get light drizzly off and on stuff. I can't say that's what it will be like in Alaska, but I'm guessing it may be.Thanks Caropooh, I feel better.
I still have a few butterflies in the belly because the trip is so close!

Can anyone tell me if there are hair dryers in the bathrooms. I assume there are, but just wanted to confirm. See you all in a week!!!!![]()
