August 9, 2011 (8/9/2011) Taking the Wonder to see the AMERICAN CHILD

I told my husband that we never win since I don't stay up at night to watch the numbers, so this time I decided to stay up and watch the numbers, I won $7:laughing:. Not enough....

I guess we can each have a drink of the day to celebrate. :drinking1 :rotfl2:

Boy, I don't feel too bad....my Megamillions winnings were $12.00 :)

geffric,

we are ziplining in Whistler post cruise through Ziptrek Ecotours. Very reasonably priced and very well rated on the trip boards.

We are getting very excited about cruising-now that we are into 2011, it suddenly seems "real" to us!

WE had one number on a few of our tickets, but that was it. Only out 10 dollars, so no big loss.
I think I should get part of the Washington couples winnings though. My name is Carolyn (her name) and I bought our tickets at a Safeway in Washington, just like them. I work at Boeing and he retired from Boeing! Don't you think they should share? (1 million should do nicely!)

hmm:scratchin since we get in late Sat.. we could drive to whistler and stay there sunday for ziplining, ATVing and hiking.. then to vancouver for stanley park and totem poles and the suspension bridge.. lots to think about..

Hi,

Here is a link for the Capilano Bridge.
http://www.capbridge.com
It looks like it will be so much fun!
I also found out that you can take the seabus, then bus #236 to the bridge for $3.75 per person each way, $2.50 for kids 13 and under. I also heard there is a free shuttle to the bridge...I am off to research that.

Very good for DarthVader92

Does he know which location he will be working at yet?

I thought of you when I saw he retired from Boeing. I think your logic classifies you as a relative of their's. :thumbsup2

Confession time :rolleyes1
We spent Sunday watching Sarah Palin's Alaska and we all got excited to see what we can in AK. It's a very pretty place. We've also vowed to now complain so much when we have to drive an extra 5 miles or so to go someplace after seeing some of the distances AK residents have to travel just to go to a grocey store :headache: .
