The house is coming along and I'm slowly getting things put away and organized. We still have painting to do and more carpet to be put down. Those things will probably wait until after we get back.

I need to complete all of my cleaning/ getting closets well organized ...before we leave !!! It' a "job" I don't like at all...BUT someone has to do it ...

I'm trying to say to myself : Come on , do everything you got to do ...you are going on vacation in few days !!! STILL I'm very busy these days... so many things to deal with ... so little time left to !!!!

I wish also that DGH and I could "work" a little bit ... on our tan ...we are very PALE , don't need a bad sunburn !!!
Hope to spend a few hours in the sun this Saturday , while visiting with Mama: they live near Lake Maggiore , there are nice beaches close to their house !!!

Got to do some laundry now !!!

Bode, congrats on getting those docs. Still haven't gotten mine yet. Maybe they are working their way up the east coast!!! Maybe in a day or two.

Laura, that is my plan for this evening. DH is leaving in about 3 hrs for a business trip to Egypt and will be back 6 days before we are to leave. I'm hoping that all goes well and he gets home in time. Last business trip made him miss our spring break trip to NYC. Although I am very used to going away alone with the kids, I don't want to have to do it for this trip.

So, are you all packed and ready to go? You leave very soon. I don't know if I can wait the next two weeks. This is better than christmas!!!

I can understand what you mean ; Marco as well is used to "unpredictable" business trips ... and I stay at home ... waiting !!! Years ago he went to Sudan "just a few days !!" AND CAME BACK AFTER 3 MONTHS !!! Boy, that was hard on me !!!!

BUT you all are going to enjoy Husband and Dad for your cruise !!!definitely !!!!! we'll love to meet him as well ...sipping on a BAHAMA MAMA !!!

Yes, I'm gathering our stuff ... I am in charge of packing also Marco's stuff , while HE is in charge for video and camera equipments !!!!!

Yesterday I had a bit of a trouble as we faced a "small" flooding in my bathroom (the water tap broke up ... suddenly ) but now we are back to "normal" life and I wish I can forget about having the plumber coming ... until AFTER MY CRUISE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going to say "bye-bye" to Mama and Papa tomorrow... maybe we can get some tan as well ....


Beginning from tomorrow / Saturday : we'll be doing the SINGLE DIGIT DANCE !!!!!!

Started to fill in docs last night, but didn't get very far. Too many kids running around my house last night.

Laura, dh is quite the packer. Everything goes in his suitcase, hangers and all. I told him last night that the way he packed I wasn't so sure he was coming back. I was leaving for the airport at 7:00 PM and was packing at 6:30. I think I get more stressed than he does. I'm not allowed to help him pack, I just get in the way. He has his own little system.

Laura, I didn't realize it got that hot in Italy. Does it get humid also? We are in the mid to high 90's most days with very high humidity. Makes it feel even hotter. DD #1 and DD #2 are somewhat tan. They are off to the pool as I type. I am a bit tan, but it's fake. I'm not a real sun lover. I absolutely must have an umbrella on Castaway Cay!!! I much prefer the cooler seasons.

Will we hear from you again before you leave for FL? If not, we will see you at 4:15 on the right hand side of the Goofy Pool.

Just wanted to thank you for posting....Just called and booked Animal Kingdom Lodge for $138. for a trip Aug 11-14. We are taking our first cruise and arriving back on the 11th.

I wanted to spend the next few days at WDW with friends we will be crusing with from Italy, but with no park tickets had decided just to say farewell at the dock.

Now we will be able to extend our trip.

I had been talking to Terry about visiting for a few days after the cruise, but due to the Black-Out dates for Florida Residents Passholders had decided not to try and visit, as we wouldn't have tickets then this morning I found out WDW had lifted the Black-Out so our tickets are now good.

Laura, last year they did the samething only not this early. Remember Blake wanted to go to WDW for a day trip.

So now we will be going to AKL for a few days.

Nina we live about 1 1/2 hours from the port, 2 1/2 from Orlando so we take several trips during the year.

Now I need to try and make some PS, Laura what are you and DGH planing for Thursday Night?

Beckie, that's great that you live so close. Sounds like a great rate for AKL. Do you and dh like to ride rides? Now that my kids are older, we can ride more of the exciting rides. DD #2 was very daring last summer with her ride choices. DS loves Space Mountain, but was sooo scared on Splash Mountain. I don't get that at all. Space Mountain is my least favorite and I will usually chose to skip that one.

Where will you make PSs? I love the Luau at the Poly and the 50's diner in MGM was fun. The only PS that we have is for the character breakfast at the Poly on cruise morning. Other than that we usually play it by ear.

You really need to make a few more PS, with this new Free Dinning Plan more people are eating at the TS. When we were there in May/June everywhere we went people were being told No Availability. I was just glad we had PS.

We do most of the rides I just don't do the drop rides SM, TOT I can't handle the drops...

We love 50's Prime Time, Brown Derby, Si-Fi, CRT, LTT (lunch) Le Cellier, Coral Reef, Beaches & Cream.
