Thanks Jenny. I copied and saved the list this time.

Eve thanks for the corrections and updates.

Thanks, I saved the list also.
Anyone know if they give snacks to the kids while they're in the clubs?
We're planning to leave our younger DD in the club during the excursion.
That's great that they'll bring the kids for meals. My DD will not survive without her snacks and boy will she be  Jinny

Hey, don't forget us....

Here's our info:

Wongmao (Lisa), DH (Tony), 9DD (Abby), 2DS (Tommy)
live in Daly City, CA, friend of Jasak (Jinny)
first time Disney cruiser, 2nd seating for dinner, Cabin #2644
Staying in San Pedro near the World Cruise Center

Look forward to meeting all of you!

Lisa :earsgirl:

But I WILL be at Disneyland waiting for you AFTER your cruise!! :guilty: ::yes::

The tiny packs of TP are a great idea! Had to use a potty in a shop in Cabo....no paper in there.
Just remember that in all the ports, they ask you to NOT put paper in the toilets. Put it in the trash cans. Yes...the yukky TP. And also do this on any boat you may take for an excursion.

Will be able to post more and answer questions on Wednesday. The folks are still here until Tues afternoon and I'll be spending their last days visiting with them.

Thanks for the TP tip, I seem to remember that from our last trip to PV many moons ago.

Me thinks you should have worded this a tad bit differently...their last days...makes them sound like they are on their death bed.

Eve - Next time you update your list you can add we're in cabins 5126/5127. And we'll be at DL after the cruise!
Vickie

Eve I just noticed that you have us going to D'land before the cruise, we are going after the cruise and will be there until Tuesday morning. We have to see Stacey since she will be there that weekend

I read in the Passporter, I believe, that aside from going to Topsiders for meals at meal times, there are NO snacks provided. Must be the way they keep that Lab/Club so squeaky clean!

Barb - I was thinking the same thing, lol.....;)

Vickie - ok, got it. Next time, I'm going to have to just cut/paste directly from my palm pilot instead of trying to catch the changes.

Oops! Forgot to change that ~I really must quit :drinking: .

A thousand apologies Lisa! :worship: I'm glad you put all that info there - it's been added to the rest on my palm pilot!

Jinny, Eve is correct no snacks are provided in the clubs unless notated on their Navigator. They are usually so much fun they forget about not having snacks. Just be sure that your DD wants to eat with the other kids if you plan on leaving her there at meal times. DD doesn't like to eat with the kids because they give them very limited choices at meal time, I think for the younger ones it's chicken fingers, fries and veggies.
Not sure what time your excursions are planned, so this is something for you to think about.
Also, the pagers that DCL provides do not work when you are off the ship. You will have to let the counselors know how long you will be off the ship and let them know when you return.

Eve the problem with the limited menu is that they serve that every single day for lunch and possibly dinner as well. DD doesn't like the idea of not being given a choice at lunch. But now that she's with the 10-12 yo group she thinks that pizza everyday will be just fine.

We are going to look over the menus to plan our meals for the week, or at least try to. I told her she has to try a couple of different things this time. But the one thing she won't try is the escargot...yummy.
I hope they still have the sea bass in Lumiere's, that's one of my favorite dishes of all time. I usually get that and filet.
Is anyone up for sharing desserts so we can try many more than one each night?!? :mickeybar :teeth: My dessert buddy won't be cruising with me.

One of your dessert buddies gained ten pounds on the cruise. No kidding. I went to take pictures of the dessert buffet. Ended up in a corner, at a table all by myself, "sampling" at least 5 different desserts!

And the "sampling" of 2 or 3 at dinner didn't help, either. I couldn't decide on just one! :confused3

I'll have to keep that menu in mind when we're there. The thought of my kids eating junk like that every day is just too much. I'll go and pick them up for meals just to avoid that.

Oh, oh, me, me, me!! :Pinkbounc Sounds like we have some similar tastes - I love escargot too and would probably love the sea bass as well. Sharing desserts sounds just up my alley!

Stacey you are my hero. Now I have a goal of trying more desserts than you :mickeybar . I think with Eve helping that may not be a problem. Any others want to join in on the dessert fest?!? Maybe we should just tell the servers to bring 2 or 3 of each dessert every night and that might get us started.
I can see lots of stair exercising in my future that week. Deck 2 to deck 9 drink station...lots of steps.

Barb and Eve,
That's too bad that the younger kids have a very limited menu choice. Guess it's easier for the staff. My younger DD would live on fries. We'll definitely pick up our kids for dinner at least. I'm still waiting for my Passporter to get here....
