With less than a month to go for booking excursions (we're Gold and book on 4/22 -- do others have different dates?), what's looking good?

We should be able to book in a few weeks. We are gold members and I wish we had more time in each port. A few hours is not enough. I wish we had two days in each place.

HELP Please.....I don't know where to stay for the night before the cruise. I have heard that you can stay in New Jersey then take a shuttle in over to the terminal, but I don't know. I really don't want to pay $200 a night plus the cost of parking. Does anyone have any suggestions.

We are staying in Rennselear (NY) the night before and taking a shuttle into the port. The company we are using is called Yankee Trails and it is their cruise express service. They pick up in Rennselear, Catskill and Kingston. I used to go to NYC from the Albany area back in the days of college, so I know it isn't a horrible trip down the thruway into the city. I think the shuttle should get there at a reasonable time...the last pickup (Kingston) is 8:05am. I've never used this company before, but haven't seen a bad reviews of it, so my family is going to try it.

Hoping to book tonight. There are only a few things I really want because we have to find things that do not involve a whole lot of walking for my husband.

My DW and I are counting down the minutes until me can make our reservations for Palo and also our shore excursions. At 1 second past 12 midnight tonight I'll be on the DCL site doing my best to try and reserve the activities we're hoping for. We're praying there will still be openings for our favorite shipboard indulgence ...brunch. Wish us luck...

105 days until we set sail to beautiful Canada.

Thank you all for the Pixi dust because it worked.... I was able to log into my DCL account at 12:00 midnight and make all the Palo High Tea, Brunch and Dinner reservations along with the shore excursions that my DW and I hoped for. May Pixi dust shower on all of you when making your reservations... Thanks again...

Logged on right at midnight and was able to book both excursions I wanted and Palo brunch. I've never done brunch so I am very excited, although I think it will be slightly weird to do brunch by myself.......

I was not feeling well yesteday and could not do the midnight thing this time. The next morning I was able to get the two excursions we wanted- the top ten best of Halifax with lunch and St. John's Highlights. I was not able to get the tea and I am disappointed but I will try once we get on board.

Anyone else on these same tours?
