We're sailing to celebrate my folks' 50th, and my sister just let me know that she was able to book Palo on our sea day. So the kids will hopefully be plenty comfortable with the kids club by that point. Can't wait to experience Disney Cruising.

I'm thinking if this a small group, I maybe able to pull of the FE gifts. We just got our docs, but still no cabin assigned.

We got a pretty small FE group here so it won't be that complicated. Usually it's just one gift per person and you can deliver them whenever you like. Most often there will be different gifts for each age group and gender and they're pretty simple. Homemade trinkets and useful cruise utilities are pretty popular.

Hi Everyone...I know I'm late to the party but I've been going back and forth on the FE and was just thinking if I have enough time to make my FE gifts. Since its a small group and we have just over 2 weeks left I think I'm up for the challenge. This will be our second Disney Cruise and we are traveling with some first time Disney Cruisers. I thought a FE would be a fun surprise for the kids I am traveling with. It will be my family in cabin #7062(me, DH, DS 5, DD 5), my cousins's family in cabin #7066 (DW, DH, DD 8, DD 6) and another family who's cabin I'm not sure of(DW, DH, DS 8, DS 6). I noticed there were a few newbies like me on this thread. So if any one is interested, I barely ordered my FEs on line about 2 days ago and just received email that they are on their way! Woohoo! It's crunch time and if anyone needs an FE quick I got mine on Etsy.com with Dawn at ilvdisney2008 . Very happy! Working on my FEs and got it under control too.

As far as when to deliver, at your convenience is fine--but if you notice a lot of gifts getting delivered on the same day, please wait until later in the cruise so we can try to space out the deliveries and keep up the excitement every day.

Just got back for the NY 2 nite cruise to nowhere. What a whirlwind weekend!!

Just checked my reservation and still no cabin assignment. I can't believe this late in the game and still nothing. I was wondering if we should have a backup plan just in case people have started their travels before receiving their cabin assignments or for those who may get an upgrade at the port.

Cinderellanprince-maybe you could have a whiteboard on your door and we would all know to go check there for any cabin changes and such?? Just an idea. I am leaving Aug 3rd to do a couple days at Disney and will not have computer access.

Hoping to get my 'arts N crafts' on tonight. I need to reverse engineer a cool duct tape FE that I saw here on the Dis. Then I am at the mercy of the Interwebs. Components have been ordered for my primary gift, but they are not scheduled to be in hand until Friday.

Great Idea! I will put a white board on my door and anyone on GT can list their room if they don't get it soon. I depart on 7/31 so I will have limited access as well.

Can't wait to see all the FE gifts, sound so exciting!

I just found out the last cabin# for the other family I am traveling with is 7096. It looks like I'm gonna have some late nights until I leave in two weeks since we are doing Disney World before the cruise! I cant' wait!!
