Fantasy is a flop! Carnival already uses it. Fail Captain Mickey!

Wishes was my choice.

Yeah, Carnival Fantasy is still in use. At least the Norwegian Dream was retired last year.

What does everyone think about the new Disney Ships names: Dream & Fantasy

I expected Dream or "Dreams" but Fantasy came out of nowhere. I was hoping for Wishes.

Honestly, I don't really care what they name them, as long as they are fabulous ships with some surprises compared to the current ones -- and they still have the same standard of quality and service . . .

I was looking at the new Oasis of the Seas ship on RCL to see some of the new things that they have on their ship and discovered that we will be in port at the same time while in St. Maartin.

The outdoor diving theatre sounds interesting

It sounds like it is a huge ship.

Looks like we are going to be neighbors. We will be in 7022 and 7024, got an interline rate and had to move down a category and put one of my kids with my stepson and his wife. These are the same cabins we were in in Nov, and we couldn't be happier.

I read in the paper yesterday that forecasters are expecting less Major Hurricanes this year

They expect a lower number of named storms.

Just booked a Celebrity Cruise for DH and I over Easter break. We are celebrating 15th Anniversary and couldn't pass up the price! I feel lost though, knowing what I do about the Magic, and little about the Century. I'm a planner that likes to know whats going on, and Cruise Critic doesn't seem to have a lot of info. Guess I'll have to tramp down my need to know and go with the flow on this vacation!!!

Are you traveling with DCL to the port or are you going on your own to get there earlier

That has been my only concern about staying at DW before the cruise. I like to go to PC when I board and its full it you arrive later.

Did everyone hear about the free dining promo going on now for Disney Visa holders and starting 3/30 for the general public?

I'm thinking of adding a few nights - maybe 3 or 4? to take advantage of the promo. Thinking of trying CSR.

I agree you do get there later, but there are no crowds. Disney times it well no lines.

However, I would love to get to the port earlier. It cuts into the time you get on board the first day and usually one buffet is closing.

If anyone would like to share a car/van service we would be interested.

Howdy Neighbor!

We did hear about the FD. We have a bounceback booked with FD at POR frrom last year. Just incase the economy gets worse, we'll stay there.

BUT, we also booked WL with a 40% pin code. Hopefully we'll keep that one. With a code you can't get FD. I'll take the nicer resort and pay for my own food. Besides, CL you get breakfast, snacks and evening treats.

By the time that all of our group is together we will have 9 people

We will probably take two cars to the port and we are renting a van from budget to take the entire group to the airport on the last day.
