I watched the special July 4th fireworks show at Disneyland last night. All patriotic music and red, white, and blue fireworks. Breathtaking!

I too do not object to 2 more families and 5 more kids. I do have the current list of the 52 kids, by age (except for 1) and likes, as well as families by descending cabin number, or noted, like us, without one assigned yet. So, I would appreciate cabin numbers, names, kids ages and likes of the 2 new families so I can add to my list.

And, I may have to send myself a box! I still need to figure out what to give as now will be 34 families and 57 kids!


While it is very hot today, I am getting ready to cruise and enjoying CC.

Neither one of us have been assigned a cabin yet. In my friend's cabin it will be Val ( the mom), Amber (age 10) and Clarissa (age7).

In my cabin it will be me (Debby), Matthew (age 10), Ryan (age 7) and Evan (age 6 months).

Still VGT, no room assignment yet. Does that mean that as more rooms sell, our chance of a good room assignment gets smaller?

We both have OGT cabins so no number yet, but here's a question I have. I may try to upgrade at the port. If I am able to do this, how do I let you all know my new cabin number?

Do I just text the group leader and she writes it on her cabin door?

Could you kindly give us an idea of the kids' likes? For example, as shown on Pudo's list on a few pages back, you will see my DD likes Minnie, Tink and Aurora.

Oh, and while my DD is also 10, turning 11 during the cruise, she likes to email other girls around her age that will be on the cruise. So if Amber would like to email her, just pm me, and I can give you my DD's email addy.

No VGT assignment for us either. Oh well. Interesting, I play on the website sometimes and this last time, when I went to see what aft veranda rooms were available for our party size, there was none. Hmmm. Maybe we will get a not obstructed veranda? I guess anything is possible as this cruise is still offering the all the GT catagories, and it will be a pixie dusted dice roll as I am not sure how many VGTs have been sold so far or what upgrades they do to other customers to make room for the GT customers at the O or I cabin type.

If July flies by as fast as June has, I am sure we will be at the middle of August before we know it and perhaps we will see all cabin numbers before sailing.

I assume any last minute cabin numbers can be told at our DISboards meet and greet the first day. I
