"We don't have a stateroom yet. We are Cat. 6 guarentee. I don't like the fact that we dont have a room. It just leaves one more thing up in the air. oldest dd will be just shy of 10 when we cruise.
Havent heard a weather report- too depressing- but the sky looks like snow."


Going through another thread this evening, I found this reply to a question asked by another cruiser. When I read the reply from Michelle, I thought of you. Maybe you get in touch with DCL or TA and get your stateroom set up, just trying to help


"Yes, you can request a certain stateroom when booking and if it's available you would get it. The vast majority of times a specific room assignment is made at booking, and you can certainly request the room you want."

This past week since joining DISboards, I noticed quite a few threads about DIS'ers meeting on cruises. I would like to throw this question out to the sharks, oh wait, we're goin' on a cruise, bad choice of words, SORRY!!!

Those going on the August 23, 2003 Eastern cruise, is there any interest in such a meeting? ? Just thought I'd throw this query out.

My family should be arriving at MCO around 9:20am(if all goes well). We are taking the Disney Cruise Line bus to the port terminal.

My family will consist of me (48), DW (49), DD (12), and my Dmom(67). I think I listed her once before as (68), sorry mom!!! LOL!!!

I am also going I have 2 cabins one cat 5 deck 7 and a cat 11 deck 6 myself 39 dh 48 ds 12 baby 2 1/2 and sister 42. I used all pts for both cabins. I booked late so could not get a family suite or on same floor. Tricia T my son is also into to video games and those cards, we also are into pin trading. would love to meet fellow dvcers and disers.

I'll tell Chris that there will be another boy in his age group. He will be thrilled! When are you flying down? We are going on Friday evening from JFK and staying at the Radisson. We will have to meet up. The boys will have a great time!


Hey Mr. Verandah Man....cool user name! I guess you have a room with a verandah. Maybe you shouldn't give your stateroom number, we verandahless people may show up in our pj's to have our breakfast on your verandah! J/K

The more the merrier. My DW is a hoot, she won't care, when she laughs, the whole ship will hear it. My DD 12, is another story, she says we embarrass her way too much!!! My Dmom, she's along for a fun time as well, it wouldn't bother her one little bit!!!

I was just checking the "Unofficial Cruise List" here on the DCL Boards, and I saw we have a few more cruisers joining our August 23, 2003 Eastern Cruise. Welcome aboard Mates!!! We are going to try and have a DISmeet, still working out when and where, but we still have a little over 5 months before our cruise.

If any of our new cruisers would like to meet with us, let us know, by replying to this a thread.

WELCOME ABOARD MATES!!!

My family will also be on deck 7 in a cat. 5 stateroom, in my family there will be myself (48), my DW (49), our DD (12), and my Dmom (67). Do you know what stateroom you are assigned to? We are in 7586 about midship, near the laundry room, on the starboard side. It's nice to "WELCOME" some new cruisers to the 8-23-03 sailing. Keep an eye out on this thread if you would be interested in being a part of a DISmeet on the cruise. We have some DIS'ers who are interested in a DISmeet, we would love to have your family join us!!!

We are on the 8/23 cruise. We are still not sure where our cabin is. dd is 9 (will be 10 in Oct). Maybe they can write before the cruise. Although, dd is not very good with email or snail mail. She loves getting it, but is not good at writing. We also have dd7

Hi Tricia T I will be Arriving the week before the cruise staying in Marco Island. Not sure if I will be at the Radisson's the night before but will post when I decide.

Verandah man my Cabin # is close to yours just on the opposite side.
