For those 8-23-03 DCL Cruisers, several of us have been talking that will be arriving at MCO near the same time on Friday. We have found out that there is a nice pizza place next door to the Radisson. We have decided to have a "Poolside Pizza Party" at the Radisson Friday night.

Why not join us in the fun, we can get the evening DISmeet started sooner, I know my DD will want to get in the pool ASAP!!!

I wanted to also wish everyone leaving today and tomorrow a safe journey. I can't wait to meet all of you Friday or Saturday.

Andy, don't start that pizza party too early....we are about 45 minutes behind you!

We won't be able to be there for the pizza party, but will see you all at the meet on board Saturday.....will be leaving Atlanta on Thursday around 6am for the long drive to Orlando....I hope everyone has a safe trip......Andy

Good morning everyone!

Two more days of work for me (today and Thursday), my dh is already on vacation time since Friday.

We are almost done packing. I can't believe we have 9 suitcases already, not including carry-ons.

Is anybody else afraid that they overpacked? We wanted to pack a case of bottled water, but I don't know if I want to add on another suitcase to the pile.

Between the swim clothes, evening wear, casual daytime shorts, and the clothes for three days in Disney after the cruise....it is really adding up. I am glad I did not decide to buy our own snorkel equipment.

You can always pick up the water down there, en route to the hotel, then you don't have to lug it through the airports. We're going to do a grocery stop on the way over.
We got a soft sided cooler, and Jeff is just going to carry it as an empty carry-on down there and we'll fill it when we get there.

We have 4 suitcases for 3 people so 9 for 6 people, that's not bad!

As I caught up my readng on the boards I realize that my family is really behind in the enthusiasm. I start my vacation tomorrow, but its been a really long week at work. The kids have been in school since the 11th and there has been so much homework and soccer practice, so between all that there has barely been a chance to prepare for the cruise. I know that once we get on the road Thursday, everybody including my husband will start getting excited. I NEED THIS VACATION!

Make sure you join us around the Radisson pool for the Poolside Pizza Party!!! Maybe we should call this our "Poolside Bon Voyage Pizza Party!!!"

Just a little over "3 Days Until We Sail Away!!!" and, boy oh boy, after what my family has been through in the past 24 hours, we "NEED" to get on that ship. Do you think we can be dropped off on Castaway Cay, and be left behind??? LOL!!!
