HI EVERYONE!!! WELCOME NEW ONE"S to our cruise. I have not been on in a LONG while. Very busy time of year. Work is very hectic, long hours. I can't believe it is almost here. Hey Andy I too also like the magnets, if you have extra. I missed so much not being on. I have a lot of catching up. Can you believe we sail soon? I am now in Vacation mode. I will have some extra magnets with me, make sure you see me at the DISmeet around the Radisson pool on 8-22.

I've started making lists!! I also started to reread my Passporter. I would recommed this to everyone. There were a lot of things I missed in the first read-probably due to the excitement of getting the book.

allshookup- We have a Cat.6 guarantee and I was wondering when we would find out which cabin we would get, with documents or at check in. NOthing earth shattering. But I hate not knowing things, and worse having no control. Now I am slightly more than mildly concerned that we will get a less desirable cabin. Having said that- regardless of where we sleep, I know we will have a MAGNIFICENT cruise.

Well, we bought new luggage two weeks ago(my Father's Day gift), we have "ALL" our t-shirts made, our tropical night shirts are hanging in plastic bags on our coat rack, some "little" things are packed in my carry on. It won't take me long to pack my bag, I know exactly what I am taking.

I've got to get out of here and get to work, no work, no money for cruise!!!

Wow, Andy! How nice to be able to meet Shirley and Norm... she's doing a basket for Kyle that I'm sure will be just wonderful! And, it must be nice for her to meet the people that she does those lovely baskets for!

We went on a picnic and canoeing on the Huron River yesterday, had a very nice day!

Just checking our mail and I see we received information for booking our "Shore Excursions." Guess what I'll be looking over tonight??? It's getting closer!!! I don't know if I can contain my excitement!!! Do you think that I'm really looking forward to this cruise???

Gotta run and look over my DCL excursion papers!!!

we got our shore excursion stuff in the mail today too. Getting the package in the mail finally broke me down, and i decided to sign up for some. see what we end up with. Kyle decided he wants to stay in the clubs.

i'll fax it in the morning.

So, what did you sign up for??? We are still looking it over with Angelina, she can't decide what she wants to do!!!

for St. Martin, jeff really liked the 12 metre regatta. that looks like way too much for me, so he will do that one alone, if he is able to get it. 2nd choice for St. Martin is under 2 flags for both of us.

St. Thomas for both of us, 1st choice 5 star snorkel and beach adventure and 2nd choice st. thomas beach day3rd choice st john island tour.

If I can get the booklet away from Hazel and Angelina for a few minutes: I'm trying to convince "myself" into trying the Parasailing with Angelina at Castaway Cay, and maybe the Banana Boat Ride as well. Thinking about doing the See and Sea Island Tour in St. Maarten, haven't had a lot of time to look at St. Thomas yet, but I really want to take the Paradise Point Tramway and get some nice photos.

I still have to check with my mom, sister, and niece to see what they are interested in. Hazel doesn't think she is going to be up for too much activity adventures, with still recovering from her hip replacement surgery. She just wants to get away and relax!!!

Seems like the days are flying by now!!!

AnnMarie I don't blame you for wanting to know things ahead of time. I have had our cabin circled on the cruise line brochure for almost a year now and I even know exactly where it is from looking at the outside of the ship. I like to know every single detail before I go on any vacation, which is why I am obsessed with the DIS boards.

That's O.K. allshookup, just have your husband at Castaway Cay floating under my daughter and I when we are parasailing, I'm sure to be losing something out of my pants, BOMBS AWAY!!!

Who did you book through? I am wondering because we have not received anything in the mail. We booked through DU and I received an email once I paid that had a link to excursions. I really wish I had gotten a book. Does it have pictures? Is there more info than what is listed in Passporter? I am going to have to try and get my hands on a book.
