and
5701047784862

I'm gonna wait to get shorts and stuff at the end of season sales but couldn't pass these up with the free shipping option. :)

Yay for Disney duds to wear!!! :woohoo:

I really want Minnie ears but I think I will wait to get there to get some. I didn't see any I liked online.

So disappointed! Last week got an email from our TA saying that the main pool at sports would be closed during our visit, that she would try to get into movies or my choice pop. I found out today, she can only get us into music. After reading reviews everyone seems to love it. Idk why I care so much. I'm still in Disney! Any opinions or thoughts?

I've stayed at all 3 all stars now and enjoyed them all. I really did feel that music was exceptionally pretty, especially the broadway section at night when it's all lite up. We were in the jazz section which we especially liked since my son plays drums, it was fun walking under the 3 piece drum set going back to our room. Jazz has a lovely landscaped area in the middle and is between both of the pools, so you can easily walk to the quieter piano pool and see the other 3 sections or you can easily get to the main themed guitar pool area where all the activities and evening movies are.

You can pool hop at the all stars so if you're at music, you can easily walk over to the smaller baseball pool at sports, although it might be buzier since it's themed pool will be closed - or you can go over to try out either of the movies pools since music is positioned between the other 2. It was the last one of the 3 we stayed at but I really liked it and would go back. I think you're going to like music, especially once you're there :music:

ENJOY :goodvibes

Wow I really really like the Snow White one!! :)

Look at all you people going at the beginning of August!!
We are at 50 days today:)

It is ok. By the time they are vacation is over ours is just getting started! ;)

Q

47 days for us! Shirts have been ordered. Going to start planning our garden grocer order soon.

Did anyone else watch their hometown fireworks last night and think that it just wasn't the same because the Wishes soundtrack wasn't playing in the background? I mean, they were good and all, but something was definitely missing. :lmao:

Our hometown fireworks are close enough that we get a perfect view from the second floor of our house, so as we were standing watching them through the window, I started singing "Starlight, star bright . . ."

DW made me stop! :confused3

:rotfl2:

So what does everyone have left to do? I am in organization mode now.
I ordered ods new shoes just now so he can wear and break them in and while I was at it, I got myself some new Sanuk Yoga Mats;)
I am going to place my Garden Grocer order next week
I called TA since Disney some how bumped my incoming flight and had me with no ME (thank goodness I noticed.) Now waiting on luggage Tags.
Start packing (I have a bunch of stuff in spare room drawer just need to take suit case out.) MIL is comeine so I figured after she leaves I can leave suit case on spare bed and add to it as I need.
Make Pirate shirts and vests
Print everything and update my itinerary and email it to myself so I have conf # in phone.

Hoping to get everything for all 4 of us in ONE suit case and carry ons.
I am still deciding if I want to just wash one load of clothes mid week so we can carry less but really I hate to take the time for it. What to do...??

I still have to buy our "sample" toiletries. I always take on vacation! :) more ponchos need to be bought, I have to go buy more flip flops from old navy, and a couple pairs of capris and Bermuda shorts, and DBF needs new sneakers and flip flops and cargo shorts! Whew! I also need to cash out my vacation fund and put it in the bank. Need to buy one more suitcase, figure out if my coach duffel counts as a carry on.. Oh yeah, get a mani and a pedi 2 days before I leave, and make a hair appointment!

We do laundry once :laundy: in the middle of our trip during an afternoon pool & happy hour break. I prepack measured soap for 2 loads in a baggie & put in inside a small plasitic tub incase of leaks with 2 fabric sheets. I also buy quarters ahead of time so I have them available and don't have to worry about making change.

I like to do at least do a load of undies & socks and a separate load of a few clothes that may be particulary ikky, like the ones you wore when you got drenched on Kali River Rapids or the kids ran thru the Epcot sprinklers or something like that you really don't want to have to pack back in your suitcase.

I'll throw 2 loads in, sit around the pool & have an adult beveage :drinking1 then swim after I get them in the dryer. By the time I sit out a few minutes to dry off, seems the clothes are already dry too :thumbsup2

If you normally take a break at the pool in the afternoon, getting 2 loads goes by pretty quick and you can always hang anything in the room that doesn't finish drying with one cycle. I'd rather do laundry at WDW than at home :lmao:

I like your idea of emailing your itinerary to your phone  We also try to fit everything we can in 1 checked bag & carry on the rest, we'll carry on an overnight bag, swim suits and an extra pair of shoes for all incase the luggage gets temporarily misplaced.

Today I am ordering new watershoes for each of us (DH takes a men's size 13 uncomfortably or a 14 comfortably.....wish me luck on tracking down something for Bigfoot :crazy2:), and I'm also going to order a new waterproof case for our camera. Found one online yesterday that looks like it will be good to have on hand in the event that our week is a rainy one and to be sure there's no accidental damage to the camera at Aquatica, Discovery Cove, or Wet N Wild. I love taking photos (we usually come home with upwards of 1000 on a week's stay) so it will be a good investment!! (Hopefully it will work as well as promised, the product reviews are pretty good :thumbsup2).

Mostly everything else that we needed to buy new is purchased that we need to take with us. Too soon to pack just yet, but we're getting there!!!

All tickets and passes have been bought, everything is pre-paid (including the hotel, flight, rental car, attractions, park and fly hotel, etc.) :cool1:, all of our Canadian funds (for spending cash) have been converted and are sitting in the bank, and all confirmations are printed and neatly organized in a binder along with maps and all sorts of other nifty stuff that might come in handy. My OCD-side has never been happier!!! :rotfl:

We will each have one checked bag (free with JetBlue). I salute those who can pack that sparingly........I seriously wish I could follow your example!!!

Our laundry woes (I hate, hate, hate coming home with suitcases loaded full of dirty clothes) are easily solved this trip as we have a washer and dryer in our unit. Looking forward to freshening up those beach towels whenever we feel like it, in the comfort of our suite!!!

Here are my ADR's. I know I am a little late in adding mine, but I am on vacation.

Aug 22 Crystal Palace 5:10 PM
Aug 23 Biergarten 5:55 PM
Aug 24 Sci-Fi 5:30 PM
Aug 25 Tusker House 8:10 AM

I dont do anything until Mickey Mail comes. Once that arrives, that's when it hits that we're really going and going soon and it's time to start packing. Things that still need to be purchased:

Sample toiletries
2 more ponchos
1 pair each of Capri pants and shorts (for moi)
a couple of Disney tank tops or T-shirts (for moi as well;))
Also my Garden Grocer order!!

:cheer2:
