46 Days!

Just got back from 10 days at my parent's house with my 3 younger boys. The two middle ones are staying up there til the end of next week so I can either get a lot of stuff done around the house or work on Disney plans (park days, possibly make shirts, stuff to buy before we go)...hmmm, such a hard decision!

QOD: HOW MANY DAYS LEFT DO YOU HAVE UNTIL YOUR VACATION?

The "number of days left" question always confuses me a little......do I count down to the day we actually "leave" (which is one day before we fly out....we will spend the night prior in Syracuse, NY.....but we have fun stuff planned for that day too, so it really is like an extra day of vacation) or the day we actually arrive in Orlando?

And do you include the end date in your calculation?

So many variables.....oh, my brain hurts .

Counting down until the day we leave the house (the 25th) and adding in the end date to the calculation............

53 days!

50 days from now I will be arriving/arrived at my resort, AoA!!!

I have not made/bought shirts or started any packing. I have edited our ultimate packing list (that we always use for Disney trips) and bought new clothes and washed them for the trip. But before anything else can be done for this trip I have one other trip to get done before Disney, that that is my moving trip. I am moving this Saturday. Like my life isn't busy enough, ugh! Oh well, I have disney to look forward to for an excellent end of summer before I go back to work at our local High School for the fall!!! Yipee!!!

30 days!!!!!!!!!!(darn July for having 31 instead of 30 days)
So has anyone tried frogs toggs sheets? OMG, I got them for this trip and tried them today- they are COLD for sure. I am going to stick into ziploc in my bag and when we are hot, wet in bathroom to wipe down. I wet it an hour ago, still really cold! I also got Mister Fans and extra batteries to take so I am not over paying at Dis and having dead batteries.

I am moving this Saturday.

Good Luck with the move ~ we just did a local move in May due to the military homeowner wanting to move back into their house at the end of a 2 yr lease and we still have orders here for another year. Hope all goes smoothly and you have great weather.

So has anyone tried frogs toggs sheets?

So my frogs toggs stayed cold for close to 2 hours! Now it's just cool and damp but definitely worked better then I hoped

My car rental rates finally came down today!
We weren't going to bother because I couldn't get a car that would hold 5 for under 400 for the 11 days. Got it for 206 today
200 was my bottom line so this will work.

This trip is all planned now.
Now the waiting....

Gina, I count how many days to go as the day I leave for vacation. So even though we don't land in Orlando until 10 at night, the 23rd is day one of the vacation. That's the morning I wake up and say "I'm going on vacation TODAY!!".
I work until 4 that day though

Oh and p.s. I changed my resort again. Now I am running away while you all roll your eyes. Yes. That is 5 resort changes. An absolute record for me.
But blame blessedbytriplets. She pointed out the Yacht Club deal I got also included the Grand Floridian. FOR THE SAME PRICE. Yep folks.. we are going to the GF for less than it was going to cost us to get free dining at AoA.

Now.. let the teasing commence!

36 Days!!!

Five weeks, not long at all - when we booked it was over 200 days and seemed sooo far away.

We've finished all our vacation shopping, everything is booked for the trip... just have to play the waiting game now!
