Congrats Gina!!!
We bought our flights this morning!!!! I had a budget of 1500 for five of us. I think it came to about 1580 with exchange and early bird check in. I can live with that. I know Southwest might have a sale, but I couldn't live with myself if they ended up going way higher.
So..
August 23rd (leave in the evening) to Sept 3rd (leave early in the morning).
Non stops out of Buffalo at the times I wanted. We're taking Jetblue down and Southwest back which means free bags as well! Leaving late on a Thursday and taking the early morning flight home saved us a lot of money. Literally every other flight was much much higher.
The plan is now 3 days at Universal and 8 nights at Art of Animation.
Everything is coming in right on budget so far. If only I knew what the Canadian dollar is going to do this summer. That's concerning me a little.
I am so happy you found yourself some acceptable flights!!! So much more fun to fly than to have the long drive there and back. The more time in Orlando (and less time on the road) the better in my book!
90 days!!!

I'm so excited we are finally able to do the Double Digit dance along with the rest of you...99 days until we check into the Poly

We're at 95 days and a Wake up, wish we were closer but than again, don't want to rush away the wonderful days of Summer.

Question of the day.. What resort/hotel did you choose and why??
Your turn!!

..... laundry facilities, three TV's, full kitchen and living room) as we just don't travel well when we're all shoved in one small room. DH is a snorer, and DS is the kind of kid who needs his 12 hours a night, so a large comfy room was key. We're now at POR with free dining in two rooms.
. Beautiful resort. We stayed there in 2009 and fell in love with the lushness of Alligator Bayou. It would definitely be our first choice for our next onsite stay. Two rooms is great idea to get you guys the space you need Our first initial plans were to just spend 9 nights at BLT, but while we were on our trip in January, we were waiting for the bus back to our resort and I happen to look over to Poly and suggest that we do 3 nights at Poly then go to BLT for 6 nights. DH agreed but suggested we should still stick with 9 nights at BLT and just add on 3 nights to Poly.
.We are staying at ASMU...mainly for budget reasons....it is our first time and I do not anticipate us speanding a lot of time at the resort, and with the summer discount code this resrt was the most sense money wise (7 people 2 rooms)Question of the day.. What resort/hotel did you choose and why??
....right now it seems like 6 people at the Cabin's at Fort Wilderness may be in order....we LOVE camping but summer heaat in Flordia in a tent seems like too much to me...lol
