ugh! that is terrible! if we had reservations at ohana i definitely would have given them to you! i feel terrible! just keep checking i'm sure something will open up! we didn't make reservations until the evening of our 180 day mark because the reservation system was down!

I just read on their facebook page that the price will be increasing on March 21st from $149.95 to $169.95 ... so I guess the pre-order price will be going up too (it's currently $99)

If I purchase this now, I can use it any time right? I read that it places a credit in the fast pass account, but then what? I get home from DW and input my Photopass number and they ship me a CD or they give me access to the pictures? And are the pictures mine forever or do I only have them for a certain time period? Just wondering if this would be worth it....

Yeah for August ...I forgot to update you on our vacation plans (yes AGAIN ), I had to switch back our check-in date to 8/28 only because I found 1-way airfare tickets really cheap if we flew out on the 28th rather than the 27th. We are flying out of O'hare at 6:30am (direct) and will be in Florida by 10:15am....I am saving us $65 on each ticket (we have 4 tickets) by doing this SOOOO, our dates are from 8/28 - 8/31 at the Poly, then heading over to BLT from 8/31-9/9. I promise you this will be the last time I will change it . Now I am stalking the different airline websites in hopes to find just as good a deal for on the way home, the good thing is we have some time.

Hi - yes.. if you buy it now, the credit will remain on your Photopass account until you get back from vacation, enter the code(s) from you PP cards.. put the photo cd in your basket, and the amount is credited back out

The pictures last online for 30 days after you enter the PP card numbers onto the account.

I am staying at Shades of Green while on my first ever SOLO trip to Disney from Aug 26 - Sept 1!!!

I originally had reservations at the Pop Century (I love the Pop) but recently SOG started a 40% off Endless Summer discount from August 20th until September 30th. I couldn't pass it up!! I haven't stayed there since 2000 and I have missed it. With this discount, there is only a $4 difference between what I was going to pay at the pop using the military discount, and what I'll be paying at SOG! I'd be CRAZY to pass that up!! Unfortunately, I can't use DME and will have to pay for a car service from MCO, but that's ok. It's going to be strange to go to baggage claim though! I don't think I even remember where it is!!

We have done this time of year in the past and find that if you go early, come back and swim and rest mid-day, you can go back later and stay later as you don't tend to get heat exhausted as easily.

I understand, from folks on these boards, that crowds start to die down the second half of August. So, while crowds will not be as low as, say, September - October, they won't be as large as June - July and spring break. Because kids in the southern states go back to school in August. Touringplans.com has crowd forecasters for each month, rating them on a scale of 1 - 10. I think there is a fee to join, though, but it's not much. We are going August 17 - 24, so I hope it won't be too bad.
