Can't Wait!

We are there with my sister's family for our 2nd annual trip....august 19th-september 2nd...ASmu:cool1::cool1:

Alright, getting down to some serious planning. I can't even get my head around planning all the meals on the DDP, but here's what I have so far:

08/17 La Cellier Dinner

08/18 Raglan Road lunch
Biergarten Dinner

08/19 Chef Mickey Breakfast
Spirit of Aloha Dinner

08/20 Tuskar House - Breakfast
Boma - Dinner

8/21 Rose & Crown Lunch
Tuto Italia Dinner

08/22 California Grill Dinner

08/23 La Cellier Dinner

08/24 Crystal Palace Breakfast
La Hacienda de San Angel Dinner

08/25 Sci Fi Diner lunch
Brown Derby Dinner

08/26 Kona Cafe

Who knows if I am going to get ADR's for all of this, but that's what we are going for. 10 days until ADR's!
:cool1::rotfl::yay:

Woot!! ADR's are made! Pretty much as above, except switch Aloha, and California Grill. Next Milestone: 90 days, to book golf and the fireworks dessert party. We are hoping to do that on the 19th - thought that might be a fun place to meet up if anyone is interested.

Booked our next family trip for 8/19 - 8/25!! Our family will be celebrating my graduation from law school & having finished taking the bar exam. It's been a long three years, but we are happy to be celebrating the best way we know how - with a week-long Disney trip! It will be our longest trip since my wife and I honeymooned at WDW in 2003, so we are glad to have the opportunity to have a bit more relaxed trip this time around.

Wahoo!!! Congrats! sounds like a yummy week! We don't arrive until the 20th but hopefully you get your dessert party and meet some of the great people from the DIS!

We are staying at AKL from the 21st to the 24th then over to BC until the 29th. So excited, one more day until we can make our ADR's! :woohoo:

I was able to access the list on my work computer. I added the new people onto the original list, but didn't have time to incorporate the others yet. I will work on this during the week.

WOO HOO!! ADR TIME!! :cool1::cool1:

OK all, list is incorporated. Please check and make sure your info is correct. Let me know if I need to make any changes. :goodvibes

6 MONTH COUNTDOWN!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!

:scared1: :cool1: :worship:  :hippie:  :cloud9: :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cool2: :cheer2: :grouphug:

So we decided to come straight to WDW on the 15th instead of going to IOA. That way we can do Fantasmic with the dinner package the first night and take 2 full days at IOA/US. I'm thinking we're going to do the shuttle/ticket package through Dreams Unlimited to get there and back. Anyone ever do this?? I'm hoping for a good deal before booking the hotel! Come on March!!

We've never used the package, but our last trip we spent one day each at UA/IOA. We bought the tickets (and the "fast pass" equivalent) online, and used the Mears shuttle service to get there and back - you just call them the day before, and they pick you up on front of your resort, and drop you right at Universal, and return the same way. We enjoyed it, but felt that the cost wasn't justified this time around - so we will be staying Disney (though doing some extra things like golf, and the waterparks, which we have never done)

From what I understand, it's Mears that will be getting us there and back and it's all wrapped into the cost of the ticket, which is only a little bit more than the regular price ticket at US. To me, it seems like a good deal!

we just made our dining reservations!! we got all of the restaurants we hoped for and for all but one restaurant we got at the exact times we wanted!! but i have to ask....

we tried making a reservation at T-Rex Cafe and could only find reservations online at 4pm and when we called in the CM told us that because the T-Rex Cafe is new to the dining plan they don't have their reservation information in yet... does anyone know what the real case is? was anyone able to make a reservation at any time other than 4 or 10 pm.. maybe it's just all booked up? hahaha

Congratulations!!

We got all the ones We wanted as well. T-Rex gave us the only issues for times. We just looked at other days and switched it with a different ADR :)

Hello everyone. I am new to the boards and WDW. I will be making my first trip ever with my DD (5) in late August. I grew up very poor, so visiting WDW as a child was something that was not even a remote possibility. Although I originally agreed to this trip at my daughter's request, I am finding myself more excited as the days go by. I will be there from Aug. 19-25 and I have been using a travel agent to help me with ADRs and my itinerary. I am currently booked at the Wilderness Lodge (because I like my hotels a little nicer now that I can afford it) but I am wondering if POFQ wouldn't be a better choice for the little one. I would love some advice. Thanks in advance to any who respond. :)

T-Rex does not give Disney the rights to book all their tables. You should call them directly as they do their own bookings. Give them a call and I bet they have much more availability than the computer was showing.

Advice is plentiful here on the boards. :lmao:

Check out the Resort Boards as both POFQ and the Wilderness Lodge have official resort threads. They should give you a great idea of what each place is like. Also check out www.allearsnet.com as they have pictures and detailed descriptions of both places. Both are lovely so I don't think you can make a wrong choice there.
