It is a Disney fan convention. See http://d23.disney.go.com/expo/index.html

It means huge, huge, huge crowds...at the Anaheim Convention Center across the street from DLR.

For DLR it will mean some extra spillover before, during and after the Expo. Huge at DLR? I do not know but doubt it. But probably noticeable.

We are arriving in DLR on August 7-11. I'm pretty sure we are staying at the Park Vue Inn.

The last time we were in DLR was also for the 50th. We celebrated our DD b-day with a character lunch at the DLH and then went to California Adventure for the day. It was empty! Then we wandered over for the fireworks in the evening. We had a great time!

So excited, counting the days!
