Don't know if that can be done....
This one was started before the cruise. The other was on the main page once people started booking and the mods moved it over to the cruise meets page and then we ended up with two.

If the mods can do it great...

As for the list of cruisers......

IF Travis is interested in hosting it on his web site (I have no webspace) Jazzman will send him the Excel spread sheet, we can put a direct link from the first post to the page and that way it would be easy to find and Travis would have control over it on ThreeCircles???
Does this sound workable to everyone?

I suppose I could pull together something for the night before .. I assume a LOT of us will spend the night before near the port, so that would make it tons easier.

Hmmm, now I'm wondering if I should have our TA scope out hotels near the port and see if we can get a block of rooms at a discounted rate??? Whatcha think???

That is a great idea. We'll be there for at least a couple of nights prior. I'd like to be somewhat centrally located so that we don't have to rent a car to see LA. I don't know if that is possible. A hotel pool would be great too.

I just emailed my TA to see what we can do....

UPDATE: asked TA to check into Holiday Inn San Pedro specifically. They have an outdoor pool, and several "cruise packages" (i.e. park & cruise, fly & cruise, rail 'n' sail). TA is looking into rates & possibility of blocking out a group of rooms for us.

I was looking for car rental locations close to the port. Enterprise has a location at LAX and I can rent a mini van there and I phoned and it is a $25 drop off at their location which is 0.9 miles to the port. I figure we'll be spending a few days in L.A. and with 7 of us it would be worth getting the van, use it drop everyone off at port, over to Enterprise and theyll give me a lift and if not I'll either get a quick cab ride or walk it.

Anyone else know of any car rental locations close to port. That was all I could find.

Actually we're scattered all over the ship ... we have a family of 3 in 7126 and a group of 4 in 7108 ... then we have a family of 5 in 2102 & 2104 ... and a couple in 2100 ... then we have a family of 3 in 5132 and another family of 3 in 5134 ... and a single (possble triple) in 5131 ... and a couple in 5128 (waitlisted for cat 5 on deck 7).

Is the Candy Cane inn still right next to DL? We visited Southern California (San Diego to LA) six years ago and stayed at the Candy Cane and couldn't believe how close everything is to DL.
