Welcome Tigger2on!

Good Thinking Sarah!!! Besides, I won't put in for 2005 vacation days until January 2005.

Andy - your like my husband.. he is management at UPS and he cant pick his vacations til December of 2004. I already told him - warn everyone that picks before him that he needs those two weeks or else Im going without you - LOL

Scratch, Yes we are going to DL pre-cruise. We'll be flying in on Aug 17 and spending the three nights using our DVC points. Couldn't pass up the opportunity for my DD to experience these parks.

I couldn't figure out how to book a room only (no park hoppers or anything) via Disney's web site. Is it possible to do it pre-cruise?

Wish I could help you out but my 3 nights at DL are presently booked thru DCL and they do include park hoppers. Once I can book my hotel thru DVC, I'll just buy my own hoppers.

I'll just buy my own hoppers.

O.K., it's been along day after a short night, but I am on the floor in a fit of laughter!!!

:rotfl:  :rotfl:  :rotfl:

I'll be watching this thread for tips on airfare (NJ to CA and then FL to NJ), transportation to the port, and other stuff.

sandygirl - I'll be doing the same thing for airfare. I'm thinking of flying out of Philly since airfare seems to be a lot cheaper there. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Hi guys.....
I have emailed the mods to see if we can amalgamate the two West - East threads.
The mods moved this thread from the main page into the meets thread and the other one was going prior to the sale of the cruise. If necessary I would agree to shutting down the one I started if it they can't be amalgamated.
Seems a shame that there are two places separated like this.

See what happens..

Cheers,
Grumbo

Guys this happened really quickly and please be assured I didn't ask for my initial thread to be retained and absorb the other. I asked if the two could be amalgamated and told the mod that if not they could close mine down.
Anyway it appears all of our posts were sorted by date and time so at least it will be easier to communicate with one another.

Cheers,
Grumbo

The three days thru DCL. They were $200.00 less than duing it thru the website. I want to get everything out of the way! That way I will also know how much I can stop spending so as to afford all this!LOL

I was originally gonna use points but I think I will save that for the stay at WDW! Plus it will be less points!

When I spoke with the CM she told me that they will get us from the resort to the pier since I purchased the transfers. But hey there is still a lot of time before then!

Our info:

Me(? at time of cruise)
DD(13 at time of cruise)
Stateroom 7620

O.K., this will make it easier instead of jumping back and forth between the two threads!!! Thanks mods for taking care of this for us!!!

The fares out of Philly look great for this August. I'm hoping they'll be like this for next year too

I will be joining all of you also, sailing solo. I am staying two nights at the Grand Californian prior to the cruise. Can't wait to meet you all.

Glad you are feeling better Andy!
