JEANNE

You could have posted anyway! We wouldn't have cared. It'salljibberishanyway! :rotfl2:

Have one quote already - incls. city tour & dive.

Asked for 2 quotes -- one with just Diving & drinks (since most of us are not interested in eating in Mexico).

Hopefully will have it all together for the 4/15 newsletter :cool1:

Transportation is included in the price. I'll set it up, but money all goes through the excursion location. Don't need that headache :)
I prefer the morning ones as we then have the rest of the day to leisurely look around. Sandra will be up anyway, as I've already made arrangements for her standard 6 am wakeup calls from Mickey!!!! Sandra's internal clock will definitely be changed after 14 days :rotfl:

Cheers,
Grumbo

We're in!

And I think rcomputers may also be interested.

So, where should one start reading these 941 pages????
The best place to start would be to PM winotracy and get the newsletter, as well as the back issues.

I have made a couple of maps showing where all us "Fools" are from, and am continually updating it as I get more info. :) If you pm me with your city, I can add you to the map too! It's posted in the newsletter and on the "other" site.

My Mom just received an email from her TA @ Allseas and they got their room upgrade that they wanted. :cool1: My parents had a category 11 on deck #2 and they now have a category 9 GTY. The 2 category upgrade was only $600 more. They still want a category 8 or even better a 6. I hope they get the 6 so we can enjoy their veranda and wine! ;)

We will stick with our category 8. It is near the kids clubs and should be VERY convenient for DD. Now if my parents want to spend the extra money I am all for using someone else's veranda! :teeth:

That is great Roxanne!! Your mom must be so thrilled!!
I think DCL is beginning to assign room # and change around for upgrades. Just got mine last week!! :cheer2:
You are right by my parents room-#5009!! Close to clubs for my kids, too!!

Don't forget! If you are working on an article for the next newsletters, I need to receive it no later than April 13. The deadline for the May 1 issue will be April 28. I don't have anyone writing articles for that newsletter. Anyone interested? We are up to 114 people receiving copies of the newsletter! :cool1:

Disney Wonder Tests Rotational Dining Times

On June 12, the Disney Wonder will test a slight change to the rotational dining times. Guests currently scheduled for Main Dining will be assigned a dining time of 5:45 p.m., 6:00 p.m. or 6:15 p.m. Guests scheduled on Second Dining will be assigned a dining time of 8:00 p.m., 8:15 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. In addition, entertainment options each evening will be arranged to compliment the revised dining times.

This test is based on Guest feedback and will provide greater movement throughout the ship prior to and following the dinner service.

I read that last night and thought it was very interesting news. Thanks for posting it!

Hummm -- don't know if I like that or not. I guess I'm kind of set in my ways about the dining rotations and like the free time between the early show and our late dinner. I wonder if it's because they're trying to compete with the new freestyle dining on some of the other ships that don't assign specific dinner hours. The only problem I see is missing dinner mates, emptier dining rooms (which sometimes can deplete the "magic" of the dinner theme) and maybe even rotating servers. Although with some of the trip reports I've read lately, that may be a good thing LOL

I saw that dinner rotation change, and figured it was Disney's way to spread out the kitchen workload, which seems to happen anyway. My experience...some nights you get served right away, others you wait awhile. I wonder how they will coordinate the AP "Show" so everyone sees it at the same time?

Ok Fools,
Here is a first pass at a summary sheet for our cruise. I've patterned this file after the original rotation schedules for the 7 day caribbean cruises which was created by mmouse37.

I need help filling in the missing info. If anyone has any input, please let me know. Also, if there's any other info that you'd like to see, I can add it. (The deck parties are probably something that I'd like to add.)

Wow....I have not updated that chart in well over a year....so I hope folks can give you whatever info you need to bring it up to date!!!!

I really don't see that the servers would rotate any differently. Just be there during your whole sitting, but gives more of an opportunity to attend to certain tables and give a bit more attention.
I would think the dinner mates at a table would all be the same time, but I may be wrong about that. If you wanted to eat together I guess you just coordinate. If you have a dining mate from hell you merely find out when they're eating and arrange different times. Which reminds me Jazz... What time are you eating???? :)

Cheers,
Grumbo
