Well either that damn list is off by one, or Octopussy's traveling companion has their own traveling companion listed. Someone better fix this or there will be "trouble at home this evening"! :teacher:

Marsha--

You don't even know the half of it. That damn list damn-near started a brawl! :rotfl:

Who's the keeper of that list anyway??? They've been slacking, I think. :rotfl2:

Well, the vacation time has been approved!!!! With some jealousy I think but it's been approved. Woohoo! Time for the happy banana dance!

I am sure that Octopussy and the traveling companion will make nice later, and plan thier revenge on the "Maker(s) of the List".

I was just looking at the excursions, as I got reminded by my TA yesterday that I can book 90 days out. I have one question for those of you who have been to CC recently, if I bring my own mask and snorkle (rented snorkels, ewwwww), will I be required to rent a PFD (vest) or can I just hop on in with out it? If I decide to go to the "Snorkling Lagoon", will they be on the lookout for non vest wearers? I honestly see that the vest is a good thing, and I don't mind wearing one, but just curious. And as I don't dive under, I really don't want to get fins.

I still don't see anything that thrills me for any of the other ports. I will be happy to share a cab to see the cliff divers with out booking a tour in Alcopulco. At Cabo, I on'y want to go to Sammy's bar. Curasau may also be a taxi to the distillery.

Something to smile about the next time you open a bottle of wine.

Sally was driving home from one of her business trips in Northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road. As the trip was a long and quiet one, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride. With a word or two of thanks, she got in the car. After resuming the journey and a bit of small talk, the Navajo woman noticed a brown bag on the seat next to Sally. "What's in the bag?" asked the old woman. Sally looked down at the brown bag and said, "It's a bottle of wine. Got it for my husband."

The Navajo woman was silent for a moment, and then speaking with the quiet wisdom of an elder said,

"Good Trade."

Woo Hoo!!!!!! Now all you need is the cheap seat!

Marsha--

We generally take our own snorkeling equipment too. At Castaway Cay on our last cruise we only snorkled at Serenity Bay. (BTW, I did find the "shipwreck!") I believe that Disney does require a snorkeling vest at the lagoon for both children and adults. But, I believe they will allow guests with their own equipment to use one free of charge.

Happy Birthday Eileen! :cheer2: :sunny:

Yeah Lisa!

We cancelled our June trip to WDW. Just couldn't come up with the cash when we have our August trip coming up plus we need to put in landscaping this spring. We put in the lawn in the fall. But, we are going back to HH in April for 5 days. Don't need AP's or overnight stays.

Weather: I would love to be in FLA right now. The weather here sucks! We don't get 4 seasons, we get 2, winter and summer. DH and I call Labor day the 1st holiday of winter and memorial day the last holiday of winter. But, you can't even count on the 4th of July to be warm. We have been freezing on that day. Easter is winter coats, Halloween is winter coats. You can't teel what month it is by looking outside. It is ALWAYS cloudy. We get every storm in some fashion that is in the country. What is spring anyway? And summer only lasts 2 months. July and August.

I am done griping for now. If all of our family wasn't here, we would move in a heartbeat.

We snorkeled at Serenity Bay last time too. kmiles you'll have to tell me how to find the "shipwreck".

Ah ha!

Quite simple, Tracy. Just line yourself up with the first Vista Spa Cabana on the beach. (The one closest to the Castaway Air Bar.) Then, swim out about 2/3 of the way to the buoy. The "shipwreck" should be in that general area!

It was actually kind of neat to find and see. It's not a huge wreck or anything but enough to attract a lot of fish. Not sure if Disney planted the items there (probable) or if it is an actual wreck but it is neat none the less.

Marsha,

We brought our own snorkel stuff with us and they gave us the vests to wear free of charge. Hopefully it hasn't changed since we went in October.

Word of caution, when you've got one of the worst rains storms to hit the area remember to roll up your car window.

I went leave this morning and noticed the car window was all the way open, with my digital camera sitting on the floor right underneath the window. Good thing Lindsay sits in the back, or she would have been pretty soggy on the way to school this morning. Now all I have to do is figure out a way to dry out the car without it smelling. How do you dry out a car when it's supposed to rain for the next 3 days?

I guess this means we can officially welcome you as a Fool! Great news all around for you today Lisa! :Pinkbounc

Ohhh... Sorry to hear about the car and camera Donna. Hopefully the camera wasn't too expensive or it will dry out and continue to work for you.

Not sure about the best method of drying a car. Especially since you don't have any sun to help with the process!

On no Donna! That's a tough one. I think you may just have to turn the heater on while you are driving and sit on a lot of towels. Was the camera ok?

I thought the song says "it never rains in California"? Sorry to hear about the car and camera. Yikes!
