I'm a Jersey Girl too. Further north however. Born in Elizabet, grew up in Westfield, then Plainfield. Luckily only 20 minutes or so from there now.

Renee, I will pm you with our address for the name tags.

I would also be willing to send all money for the pins and medalians. Plus the shippping costs. That would make your luggage that much lighter and mine a wee bit heavier.

Robinmarie, been there hope the pain isn't too bad at this point. I hate going to the dentist. Rather do the GYN thing.

Our port is 15 to 20 minutes from the Long Beach Airport. I could look into shuttles for you...my gut feeling is "no."

Ok, i took a look at the Alamo ressies that i had and i didn't realize it was a dropped off at Long Beach airport. does anyone know how far is LBA to the port?? Wonder if there is a shuttle from LBA to port??

Perhaps i will stick with Budget instead.

Went to the dentist this morning for pain which started this weekend. Before I left work to go to the dentist I did a rantNrave about all the things I do religiously yet still have darn tooth problems. The lovely supportive people I work with all describe how they have no problems and none of them floss, use listerine etc. Thanks guys! Turns out I needed a root canal - lucky me could get an endontist at 1:30pm. Yippee! (sarcasm) Deep breathing exercises, mini IPOD and a borrowed pain pill and I'm off.

20 shots of novacaine later and still having nerve swelling and pain, he sticks the darn needle INTO my tooth where it finally improved. That was the worst pain ever. I'd give birth to another child sans medication before wanting to do THAT again. Can't wait til my mouth stops being numb so I can feel all the prick areas.

Two hours later I was finally done. Bad news, the OTHER tooth I had root canal done on in 1998? It has an issue and may need work or extraction. How the heck is this possible? How depressing it's been! The whole two hours in the chair I kept thinking, after I'm done I'm that much closer to the cruise.

So I guess I wanna say: Thanks for being part of my happy thoughts when I was in the chair today!

Robin Marie - I was at the Dentist today too! Heck I am there almost everyday! Oh, I forgot I work there! LOL!

I hope you are feeling better!

My DD (age 8) went to the oral surgeon on Friday and had 4 teeth extracted. She was very brave! I hope you were too!
