I just wanted to make a quick announcement:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAZZMAN!!!!!!!!!

If you ask him nicely perhaps he will post a picture of the birthday card he received this morning. It actually relates well to this thread!

Wow, Jumbo Grumbo....with this kind of free publicity, you're going to go from being "The Scourge of the Sisterhood" to "The Urge of the Sisterhood"!!!!
If I remember correctly, they were referring to him as "Jumbo" a while back.

Some kind of notoriety, huh?

Watch it or I'll post the article how the candles on your birthday cake have contributed so much to Global warming that they're contemplating stopping any future birthday cakes of yours being permitted in Rhode Island!!!
btw Happy Birthday bud..... One more year and you'll be eligible for Social Security. ;)

Cheers,
Grumbo

Happy Birthday, Jazzman!! :cool1:

Scratch,
Thanks for the summary. I feel caught up now.

Late diners
HAven't heard from too many off you...make sure you PM me with your confirm numbers and full names so that we can get you linked!

Happy Birthday Jazz. Grumbo's SS comment hit too close to home for me...I don't know if this is the kind of thing you celebrate, but my first Social Security check and the Fool's Cruise happen to coincide!!

I have mixed feelings about the notoriety Grumbo is getting. On the one hand I am envious! On the other hand, I'm really upset about the double standard the Sisterhood are allowed to get away with here. They go around broadcasting all kinds of comments about Grumbo's manlihood without limit, yet if us guys made any comment about any of the Sisterhood's physical attributes...watch out for the "Sexual Harrassment" charges!!! I hate to see the way they are treating Grumbo like a piece of meat!!!

We have a Holiday Inn and HoJo thread going at the other site. Just so we know who's staying where prior to the cruise.

Please try to sign up under one or the other (or start any additional threads with other hotels as needed) so we can keep track of you! Big Brother never sleeps.

Hey - you are supposed to be out washing my car!! Get moving; it's the red Mustang Cobra in the first row.

Melinda, if I can't get my slave to do this stuff then I want my $5 back!

Yep he definitely is in the over 60 group. Living his second childhood with a Red Mustang Cobra. I'm driving a mini van so you know I'm not THAT old yet :)

Happy Birthday Jazzman !! :jumping1:

Just think only a "few" years ago your Mother was telling your Father how wonderful you were. ;) If she had only known...what the future would bring.

Anyway hope you have many more.

Gee Izz you're only a couple of years older than I am. Nice to know I'm not the oldest one here.

Christmas shopping has become the high priority in our lives. Going to spend the weekend shopping. Unfortunately my DH is going to be along. I don't know about the rest of the sisterhood. But I would almost rather have a root canal than shop with him. He is one of those engineer shopper types. That means he'll have the whole trip planned out before we leave. NO leeway for a sudden idea.

Estelle :teeth:

:earsgirl::earsboy:

Estelle your hubby sounds like a prince of a guy.
I am going shopping with Doris tomorrow down to Toronto. Do I want to go and fight crowds, and go numb looking at the same crap in 5 stores til I find one that is 99 cents cheaper? No. I just want to be with my beloved wife. Heck 9 hours in malls in Toronto could bankrupt the Grumbos for life if I'm not there to keep her in line :guilty:
Estelle.
KNOW WHAT YOU'RE SHOPPING FOR, FIGURE OUT WHAT STORE IT IS IN, GO AND BUY THE DAMN THING AND MOVE ON.
I'm thinking of becoming a professional shopper when I retire. I can go out, buy, wrap and still be home before noon hour. It is definitely a woman thing with trapsing around malls endlessly looking for "the perfect buy"
The time, gasoline used and frustration level isn't worth the hassle.
I think J.G.E. may be moving into the "D.C.L. souvenir buying" business next year.

Cheers,
Grumbo

2nd time today you have hit close to home! I have a black Mustang Cobra!!! It's not a second childhood thing...I finally paid off my all my kid's debts and have enough money to get my own toys! Now that I got em, can't remember why I wanted them!! (But damn, that Cobra is fast!!!)

I would like to say MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone, this will be the last time I can post before 2005, I have finished work now and we are off on holiday.

I presume we will be past the half way point then for the people booking on May 5th.

Happy Birthday to Grumbo as well.
