Never believed in this stuff (even for fun) until my girlfriends and I read Cosmo magazine's annual astrology guide one year in college. It said I would meet my bearded Libra mate that year. Sure enough, I did!

Geminis and Libras are supposed to click...well, we're still together 23 years later, so perhaps there is some substance to this, lol!

Anyone care to share? Are you a stinging Scorpio who loves their family and friends? Are you a Libra who strives for balance? Are you a practical Capricorn goat who enjoys beauty and creativity? ... and on and on and on!

This will tell us how we can expect to interact on the CA to FL DCL, ROFL!!!!!!!

Just so you guys can "budget" remember that it will be approximately $152 per person for this 14 day cruise.
There is a "Tip Calculator" that was posted on the main board in the past but if you want to plug in your numbers it gives you a good idea how much you're going to need for tips.

Mark, any chance the bus would take us on to the Royal Pacific Hotel (IOA) or others to WDW? If not, maybe we'll just take Art's shuttle. Also, any idea on the time of time of departure from Port Canaveral that a.m.?

I don't know, but I will ask.

So I don't recommend giving out your reservation #, what if somebody cancelled your cruise?!

Now who would ever do that to someone!?!? Oh yeah that reminds me, Mom2Belle&PeterPan, I might need your Ressie # to cancel...er...get you an upgrade.

And remember your "Tip budget" should not reduce your "drinking budget". If anything needs to be reduced, take it from your "laundry" budget or your "spa" budget!!...Mark

let's see....$152 X 4 = $608!!! YIKES!!!!

This is going to be ONE expensive vacation i ever took in my lifetime!!!!!!!

Barbara,
I don't believe in Astro..signs and am not into it,,,but i am an Aquarious. Good or bad????

Melinda, I don't believe in it either, just find it interesting. This is all in fun! ;) BTW, Gemini's, Libra's, and Aquarius' are supposedly great friends, so looks like it's good, lol!

Hey everyone, this is just in jest...just passing the time before my favorite TV show comes on!

See ya' tomorrow!

Count us in for the bus from the Port to the airport. There will be 5 in our group.

Thanks!
Roxann

P.S. once you get enough folks. PM me and I don't mind paying early or whatever it might take to get that deposit paid for without you all footing the bill!

Ok that is no problem....Good idea though....

Ivanova, Do you want to link the early seating with us or because you have so many people, you want a separate one??
Let me know....
Link us up :)

Link us on too, we already have a full table, but would love to be in the same area!

Tigger24: 2A + 1 child (19 months!)
DCL~DREAMER: 2A
My Aunt and family: 4 A (two teens)+1 child (9)

Great, thanks!

Just wanted to say "Good Morning":sunny: & get out to vote.

We had a table for 10 on the Disney Cruise 10/23/04 & I don't think you would want to fit much more then 10. You start losing conversations:chat: and have to listen:listen: hard to figure out what the other end of the table is discussing. The round table for 10 wasn't bad but when we were in Animator's the conversations were lost at the LONG table. It is just something to think about.

We are not sure whether we are going to WDW after the cruise (not sure about vacation time) or straight to the airport. If we go directly to the airport we would love to ride the bus.

If you are scheduled for the main dining you eat breakfast at 6:45 AM & are off the ship by 8:00 AM. We caught a 9:55 AM flight home! Now I am starting to get EXCITED about this cruise!

Have a great day. Toodles:wave2: :earsgirl: JEANNE

Tigger24, got it...12 of you right?? making sure i counted right...

REGARDING LINKING DINING SEATING ARRANGEMENT:
I wasn't planning to have ONE BIG TABLE, or couple of tables put together, for that matter, for all of us to sit at...

We all still have our own tables with your family or you may share with others depending on seating arrangements.

My goal is is this: Anyone who on the list, is to have the SAME restaurant seating rotation AND possilbly have a SECTION area of our own where all of us are in the same area.

I don't know about you, but that what i was thinking.

DudetteTwo is definetly right about trying to listening to someone on the other side of the table. (ooh, this is the perfect time to learn Sign language!) but again, i wasn't' planning on seating arrangement that way...

Just wanted to get the record straight, Any???'s or concerns, post on!!

ALSO, THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DAY FOR AMERICANS, PLEASE GO OUT AND VOTE!!!!

I think people understand what you are trying to do, and we certainly appreciate it. We just want to be in the same dining rotation as other "Fools" and perhaps sit in the same section of the restaurant. At some point our family would actually like to link with another family to sit at the same table. On our last 2 cruises they seated the 4 of us by ourselves and we would have preferred to sit with another family as we did on our first cruise. If we end up linking with another family for the same table, we will take care of that on our own. But even just being in the same dining rotation will be wonderful!! Thanks so much for doing this!

Denise :) :)

That's exactly what I was thinking, Melinda! We're a group of 5, so we could either be left together at a table for 6 with one empty seat (last cruise's scenario) or I guess they could put another group of 3 with us. This reminds me - I need to phone Disney and link our ressie with Auntie's! (It's sinking in that they're really planning on coming with us!)

Thanks so much for taking on this job for us. I hope everyone takes the opportunity to vote in today's Presidential Election. Here in Canada, the voter turnout is notoriously low, but it never stops those who don't bother to vote from complaining about the government that gets elected.

Your electoral system seems quite complicated compared to ours, but I hope the winner is actually the guy who gets the majority of the votes!

Barbara - I'm not a true believer in any of them either, but I agree that it's fun!:D I always read mine if I come across it somewhere. I'm a Virgo, and Martin is one of those dreaded "Scorpio" types.:earseek: He's definitely one fiercely loyal guy to his family and those he cares about!

Lara's a Gemini, and I can definitely see the "twin" personalities in her!

In our family, we also track our Chinese zodiac signs. Again, Martin is the strong personality - born in the Year of the Snake!!! Lara and I are both Year of the Rat. Lara was a little worried as she was trying to figure all this out - "Mommy - don't Snakes EAT Rats???" LOL

Hope your first day back at work was a good one!

Arlene

Thanks for posting the tip calculator Grumbo.

Mom2Belle&PeterPan - I'm an Aquarius, too. Also good idea about not giving out your ressie number. I never thought about that happening.

I also want to thank you Bmwdsny for getting this list together. I totally agree with what you're thinking about having us in the same rotation.

mississaugamom - I also have to try to find some poor souls that will want to have dinner with us and Haley to link our ressies to. We've done this on the past two October cruises, and it makes dinner so much more fun and interesting since you kind of already "know" the people you're having dinner with. On our first cruise (before Haley), they sat us with two couples that were on their honeymoon and couldn't speak any English. Needless to say, there were very quiet dinners.

To all the American folks on this thread please try and use my adage during elections.......

VOTE EARLY, VOTE OFTEN!!!!!

Uh, exactly how many of you???
Hmmm, exactly??? Let's see.....right now we are 21 people in 8 rooms, we might bump up to 23 people in 9 rooms if we can ever get a friend of ours onto the wait list

If you need our room numbers they are on page one of this thread (there's actually 9 rooms listed there, but someone cancelled). If you need to know which one to delete (all I remember is that it's on deck 7) let me know (via email or PM) and I'll verify for you.

Ok Susan, i get the staterooms # when i finialized the list....
