(Hopefully, there's gonna be some Viagra on this trip!)
Well, Eileen, if you took a look at the Men Leader picture on the page before, The poor little guy was amazed how the Viagra was working!!!!!

Please ignore Mark. We try to.
He is still upset that we found out he got his cabins and rock bottom price on the first day, got a bunch of onboard credits and 10% discount and then told his sister in law he had to pay full price. We told his poor sister in law and now he doesn't play nice anymore.
Cheers,
Grumbo

That is right, listen to Grumbo, he is the HEAD leader!! Mark is pouting that he is 3rd and the LAST in line of leadership(after Jason and Andy are not here!). He is mad that it is 'JGE' instead of JGME . BITTER MAN!!! :headache:

The image of a Ship of Fools on Viagra and running around Drunk and Naked..... not a pretty sight..not a pretty sight at all!!!!!

I wonder if Disney is monitoring this thread...I fear they may cancel the whole thing....or leave a day early without us!!!

Grumbo, I got one better. After selling my extra room to my sister-in-law at the newly inflated price, I'm gonna sell it out from under her on e-bay for twice what she paid me. I'll tell her about an unforseen increase which surely will make her bail out. I'll refund her money, minus a hefty refund fee, and then use all the extra money for excursions...Mark

We put the Canadians in charge of bringing the meds. It's cheaper getting it from another country and the quality is becoming a lot better. Here's a look at someone seeing first hand if his viagra is working...Mark

::yes::

We are seriously thinking about booking the member cruise. How crazy would it be to go on the Disney Magic for 14 days, stay in a hotel for one night and then get on the Disney Wonder for 4 more days?

DD would miss 2 days of school. The first and second days I might add.

Anyother, DVC members thinking about booking both cruises?

Mark,

That has to be one of the funniest pictures I have ever seen!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Actually, what I think you should do is start your price on E-Bay at the current price of the cruise on the Disney auction! At least you know some one will pay that price! :p

Oh, although I am a apple martini fanatic, DH likes the pink margaritas on board. And, I admit, I am VERY fond of frozen drinks!

Look for my cruise song coming in a few days....

We would have LOVE to go but My Dh has to get back to work since he works for a school district and my kids is already missing school if it starts before Labor Day. But other than that, you better beleive it that we would have book it.
If you have an opportunity to go...GO!!! Since you are from Oregon, and you will be in FLorida, take the opportunity. DVC cruise only come by once in a while. Are you planning visiting WDW???

Well if they they do it is ROAD trip to Port Canaveral....
Hmmm who lives 20 minutes from the port Bob??? ;)

Cheers,
Grumbo

We thought about going to WDW a couple of days after the 14 day cruise. However, if we go on the DVC cruise we will probably rent a car for the day and see the Kennedy Space and Cape Canaveral sights. We figure we will be there, we have the points (it would wipe us out until our 2006 alotment in April).

We are thinking for a little while and will have a game plan by the 23rd.

Roxann

Is it a matter of chosing DVC cruise or WDW??? If you haven't been to WDW in a while, i would chose the parks and use the points to stay there. You will be just got off the cruise and it maybe a nice break to visit the parks instead.

DECISIONS DECISIONS!:scratchin:

But whatever you choose, you will have a magical time anyhow!! :earsboy:

kpgclark - our school is thinking of starting before LD also! My DS will also be in sixth grade so I can relate! I do think it's a once in a lifetime trip so I may just talk with the principle if it comes to that.

Good luck!

With all the threads about school beginning before Labor Day, I realized that my ds will be beginning high school next year. My brain did not even think of this, I only think of him as a middle schooler! I looked at the calendar for this year of what will be his high school and... - registration for freshman was August 26th this year!!!

1. Those of you with high schoolers, did you ever see others registering a student? I was thinking that maybe my mom or dad would come and register ds.

2. Dh and I will contact the high school. I work for our school district, so maybe that will help a little bit. This is a trip of a lifetime, and we're not going to give up the outstanding deal and opportunity this brings...but we cannot jeopardize ds's class schedule his first year of high school either...

Any other thoughts everyone???

Thanks so much!

Barbara

I called DCL and we have been assigned cabin numbers. Although I'm happy about the location, I'm markedly unhappy that we don't have connecting staterooms. We've been on the waitlist since the 1st week that reservations started, so I was very disappointed to find out that we don't have the connecting staterooms. I called DCL to find out what I can do and received a very confusing answer. Basically, she said that they fill the cabins according to the waitlist; but when I pointed out that I know someone who was put on the waitlist after us who has received connecting cabins, she said that it also depends on the number in the party. Since we're a party of five, I have the feeling that we will never get connecting staterooms. I debated for a while whether to get a family stateroom or 2 connecting Cat. 9's; the possibility that I wouldn't get connecting staterooms certainly was entertained. However when I called DCL and was assured that as far out as I had booked, I was almost certainly going to get connecting rooms, I decided to reserve the connecting 9's. I know it isn't the most devastating thing, but this is going to be a big inconvenience for us not to have the connecting door as my kids are too little to have their own stateroom. I hate to be paying this much for this cruise to have someone sleeping on an air mattress on the floor in that small space (don't bother telling me that DCL will not allow that - it's a no-brainer.)
:( I know that people are still going to cancel this cruise and connecting staterooms may become available later, but I would feel much better if I knew that we had connecting staterooms. It's really frustrating not to be able to talk to someone who can tell me more than the poor CM's who are answering the phones (actually I'm very polite even when unhappy). :( :(

I feel like St. Helen's - thanks for letting me blow off some steam (but no ash - that stuff is going to be a pain.)

DonnaDavid,

I hope you get what you are wishing for! Next time I rub a lamp that has a genie :genie: , I'll be sure to make that wish for you! (By the way, does your name have anything to do with the 90210 lovers??).

For any of you DISers out there in the Philadelphia region, this weekend is my rugby team's annual tournament, Pumpkinfest. We host this tournament every year (21 years this year!) and it has become the premier women's rugby tournament in the country. Teams from all over (CA, WA, MI, GA) come and play, including some of the top teams in the country. So, if anyone is interested, I will be spending the weekend at Belmont Plateau in Fairmont Park watching women's rugby and cheering my teammates on. Even if you don't know anything about the sport, it's just fun to watch girls without protection tackle each other! My husband hates the sport, so I'm just gonna roam and watch some great matches.

If anyone is interested, or would like directions, you can either visit our team site (www.pwrfc.org) or PM.

Oh yeah, did I mention.......IT'S FREE!!!

So DISers in the Philly area, come on out for a great weekend of rugby, with beautiful weather, and the chance to meet me! :p

:flower1:

You go away for 24 hours come back and have to read 3 pages. But.. I have to admit I  and then laughed somemore. there is something about this crew that just causes laughing.
Sorry for all those parents who have kids that will start before Labor Day. It just seems the cruise is a once in a lifetime experience. Unless of course they are doing it again in 2007. There is a quiet little thought in my mind. That perhaps Disney is planning on moving a ship out in 2007. Not necessarily the Magic. I just have these random thoughts when ever I think of Disney.

Melinda, Grandson wants to wait until next year and then go to WDW. At least that's what he says right now. But he will not be going in Dec.
