Thank you to all for your welcomes! And this is for the very, very important men
:worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:

Anyway, I like my martinis apple (make sure it is flourescent green!) and will definitely check out the pics. As for the Drunk & Naked stuff...definitely drunk, maybe semi-naked (if I can loose the rest of my weight before then!)

Welcome Eileen!

I have added you to the list and sent a copy off to the RCGP (Repo Cruise Grand Poobah), so you should be listed on the first page of this thread soon.

-Jazz

Thanks Jazz! Is it just me, or is anyone else singing to themselves "California, here I come. Right back where I started from" ? I would sing the rest of it, but I don't know the words! Oh, well. "California, here I come..."

It was posted on the DVC Boards!

Of course I saw it after I booked the Flights!

Apparently, it's on the Wonder, September 4 - 8, 2005.

They are starting to take ressies this Saturday.

Hope this helps somewhat.

Thank you for all of the replies, but I am still a little uncleaer, I presume its the difference between the current band of pricing for the upgrade.

IE if upgrading from Cat 8 to Cat 6 now,

Say purchase price cat 8 on May 5th $4k
Now the price on Cat 8 is $8k
Cat 6 now is $9.5k

The current upgrade is $9.5k - $8k = $1.5k.

Not upgrade cost $9.5k- £4k = $4.5k????

Hi Andrew
Actually this is exactly where I am at. We have a gty Cat 8 and are waitlisted for a Cat 6. Is it really going to be $4500 to upgrade???!! Wow. I might have to rethink whether that balcony is that important.

Andrew DEREK UK- I don't think you have it correct. I do not believe that an upgrade will enable you to take the appreciated price of your existing cabin and apply that to the new cabin and only leave you paying the difference. If any inventory is left, it will be sold at the current price. If you cancel your cruise, your cabin will be returned to inventory at the current price. You will probably be charged the difference of the current cabin price minus whatever you originally paid. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I know, maybe Grumbo or Jazzman will make the switch with you. We could probably trick them into taking the current price of the cabin as your trade in and only charge you the difference. My reasons for thinking this are:
1) Jazzman's a musician
2) Grumbo's a Canadian
We could probably have them trade down to the Wonder if we tried!!

EileenAmI- Welcome aboard- I believe there has been a misunderstanding. I have been grouped with the other guys for some unknown reason. I am no more or less important then you or any of other cruisemates. As for Jazzman and Grumbo being special, there is an easier explanation. They started a company to assist us in some low price services, it's known as JGE(Jazzman and Grumbo Enterprises). They also offered some low cost trip insurance and when filling out the pre-existing medical conditions part of the plan, they both stated they were IMPOTENT. You can surely see how this has led some people to misunderstand and refer to them as important. You can either address them as Jazzman or Grumbo or as we in the know call them "Limpy" and "Droopy"...Mark

How would we find out the current cabin price? I phoned Disney and she couldn't get any prices up on her computer, and the website won't do it either.

 Hey, all --

I just had a VERY interesting thing happen on the Disney Cruise website. I went in to check our cruise for next year to see if it was still sold out. When I selected "special cruises", then selected "14-day Eastbound Panama...", instead of 2005 August popping up, 2007 August popped up!!! When I tried to "book" it, it came back and said there were no available rooms. When I tried to do it again, it wouldn't come up. When I refreshed and tried it again, it came up 2007 again!

Now, was that just a computer glitch -- or maybe Disney is thinking of doing the west coast again in 2007???

I called DCL -- and the rep really acted defensive. Her comment was, we just released our 2006 rates. I don't know anything about 2007!

Soooo, maybe I've stumbled upon a secret -- Or just a lousy computer glitch?

The first 3 guys are Grumbo,Jazzman and Mark...The 4th guy was jason, who was banned from here and the little one, poor guy, Andy had to cancel out the cruise reservation!!

Don't believe me??? Take a look at the earlier pages!!!!!:smooth:

Lies, Lies I tell you.

I'm not sure how they do that (put pictures in other peoples post) but I'm reluctant to cause a fuss for fear of being blacklisted by those "important" (nee-IMPOTENT) people. Oh how they besmirch the fine name of Mark & Sandra with their vile pontifications. ...Mark

Where have I been? I didn't know about this thread. My name is on the list but the information is wrong. Are there any special events or meets on the Repo CA to FL cruise? Can anyone give some information? How do I correct the information on the list.
See you on the Magic August 20, 2005!

MM2U2- I'm sorry but that info is contained in the preceding pages. You'll have to read the whole thing to find out what you want. I'd help you as would everyone else, but we've been told by Grumbo that if we don't adhere to his rules, he'll delete his first reply and thus delete this whole thread. You know what they say, those with absolute power,.... probably drink too much absolut(e)...Mark

Wow!!:earseek: You guys are vicious!!! I think I'm gonna like it here! (Hopefully, there's gonna be some Viagra on this trip!)
