August 2, 2011 disney dream

Again I see you are working hard Mr. Coachycp. Just watched Aulani promotional web cast. They have a lot to work on.

Oh I called nasa and told them you were hacking into their gps system. You will be hearing from them later today.

Just be happy we are only going to WDW for 5 days as my normal 10 day trips are much more advanced. :rotfl2: Also be happy that you are not disney rookies. I have a 20 page document that I wrote for friends on their first trip that has all kinds of great information. (yes they are still friends and thanked me so :ssst:) :worship: this is what you should be doing. All praise Saint Scott. :cool1:

Yes Doug and I have a lot of fun coaching and Disney planning.

Have a great day and Doug get to work!

I will turn 48 on August 9th,

August 9 is my birthday too!!! (but I'm a few years older that you . . . )

We can try to make the 2 - 3 at the Goofy Pool on Deck 11!!! We'd like to meet other DIS'ers, and DS would like to get together with the other teens!

My dw's birthday is aug 16th:cool1:

It is a small world! We should plan a get together one evening for drinks(alcohol or non-alcohol) to celebrate all the birthdays that are during or close to the cruise.

Here are some options I've come up with:

1. Meet at the Poly on the beach or around the pool to watch the fireworks and those that have reservations can hopefully meet us after they get done with dinner.

2. Meet at the lounge at BWV around 9:30 or 10 and just see who shows up.

3. Have an afternoon meet either in a park or by the pool at the BWV.

Anyone have any other suggestions or thoughts?

I vote for #2. EPCOT closing time and before we pack bags for next day when the Disney bus with the Portholes comes to get us at Beach Club.

We will also be on Deck 12(terminal side which I believe is starboard) for the sail away party - so if any DISers want to meet up there too.

I like this idea. This way we get a good view AND we can get good seats to watch the sail-away party.

Yeah!!!!:cheer2: for another August birthday. August 16th seems to be a pretty happening day. A ship full of Leos - hear us roar!:cool1:

My other DD will be 14 on August 18, trust me, I hear the Leos roar...on a daily basis! :lmao:

I just got my room assignment for my 9A GTY, I have 7502. I'm not to thrilled with the slanted wall but I knew that was what I would get with that category so I can't complain.

Was you reservation a gty? That you had assigned? Still waiting for ours....

Yes, it assigned as soon as I entered final payment today and my confirmation popped up. I was surprised, I had expected to play the waiting game! Now I'm annoyed because I clicked on the little dot for the full amount when paying it off and it somehow charged $0.01 less than the balance to my card so it still shows payment owing although I do have access to everything as a paid in full reservation. I called and they said they'd take care of it, didn't sound too surprised. I just wish it wasn't still showing when I look online!

Interesting we have been waiting and haven't been assigned yet? I guess we will just keep waiting.

:lmao: You guys are too funny! My family makes fun of me when I start planning, getting my spreadsheets together, and spending my time on the DIS. :surfweb: It's always great to know they are other excessive planners out there. :thumbsup2

Check out this thread. I am a failure in planning compared to this individual. Wow they have even planned when they are riding the rides. Nice thing about being a DVC member and going yearly I can relax and not have to plan it out this precise. Check it out they did a lot of work!

Ok at first I wanted to reply to planning post with are you nuts or you have obviously have not been to wdww around the 4th but then remembered our first time and gave some tips. They are running back and forth all over ak and will be wiped. I hope they relax and go with flow or they will be miserable and won't want to go back

WOW - what a plan. Glad I'm not this bad. It would be interesting to see if they can keep to their schedule, especially around July 4th. Very busy and very hot! I like to plan, but we have never done a "touring plan". I think the best advice for any one using a "touring plan" is to be flexible.

I have to agree that owning DVC and going at least once a year(usually more) our planning has decreased over the years. The main thing I plan now is ADR's and we usually just plan our days as we go based on dinning or EMH.
