Definitely, me too!!!! I'm not good at dieting!!! I like to eat what I want when I want. I just try not to go overboard!!!! LOL!!!!!

This will be our second Disney cruise (Wonder, 8/09) and we can't wait.

We just might run into each other. This time we will be in a 2-bedroom in Kidani. We have dinner reservations for 'Ohana's on Saturday. We have reservations at Boma for breakfast on Monday before the cruise. The rest of the meals we will play by ear.

Breakfast at Boma is one of my favorites !!! Have you enjoyed it before ?

The day you are booked at 'Ohana's
we are planning a DISmeet with some families :
Harry's, Frank's, Hellen's , Janeanne's and mine.
Frank will be arriving to the POLY in the early afternoon and Harry has booked The Spirit of Aloha show (seating 5.15 pm ?) ,

so Hellen suggested WE COULD MEET ABOUT 3.00/3.30 PM.

We all will have to finalize the details when we are closer to date
maybe you'll want to join in .........

The cabin tour sounds great. I would like to participate in the cabing tour. Does your Navigator say when or if the DVC presentation was on the first day?

The main DVC presentation for members was the next morning at 10am (2nd day on the ship).
The other days it varied either 10am or 4pm daily.

A breakfast at Boma has become a tradition for us. Every time we stay at AKV we have breakfast at Boma. The variety is great and the food is DELISH.

A meet at the Poly would be great. I will pay attention to the details.

Morning Everyone! I am going to try to get motivated early today. Yesterday I was able to get the shopping done, spend some time pulling dandelions, do one load of laundry and have a nice evening with the family. Today I have to finish all the things I did not get done that I should have and get my long run in. Two weeks until our half marathon so no excuses at this point.

Kristin - I hope you are taking it easy this weekend. Please let us know how your foot is doing. Are you going back in to the doctor this week?

Laura - Thanks for the photo of what the sun should look like! Yesterday afternoon it suddenly got sunny in Minnesota but then we ended up with severe storms. Today we are back to gloomy. Thanks also for the PM with all the great information for our cruise. I will be working on that tonight.

Kevin - Welcome aboard! My family lives in Woodbury. My DH and I lived in Mankato for many years though (we both went to MSU and then we met each other, married and lived there for some time).

Brenda - When you get a chance, PM me who is in on the cabin tour so far. I will put it on the cruise website so that people can see the type of rooms that will be viewed on the tour.

Erika - Did any of the horrible storms last night come close to you guys? We were watching the news and seeing how bad it was but nothing came close to Woodbury. Hope your toe feels better soon!

Harry - Sounds like you guys had a great evening as well. I was wondering whether Bridesmaids would be funny or stupid...glad you liked it.

Terri - We have rented points from people on the DIS twice and both times it has turned out really well. I think it is about feeling comfortable with the person when you communicate with them and then having good paperwork that documents the rental agreement. I would do it again in the future if we were looking to stay at a DVC site.

To all those dieting before our cruise - Okay, I am going to be right there with you. Last year I lost so much weight but this spring I have managed to gain 8 pounds of it back. I know that doesn't sound like a lot but I am not going to be happy if I don't lose that before the cruise. I need to get back at my cross-training as well as running on a regular basis again. My goal is to lose the 8 pounds and then lose 5 more since that was my original goal.

To all of you planning on doing the 5K at Castaway Cay - If you want to send me a PM with what day you are planning on doing it, I will add you to the list on the website. I saw a lot of people chattering about doing it but I didn't record all the posts as they happened.

Alright, time to change the load of laundry and get moving on my day. Hope everyone has a relaxing day!

We have rented points, but not from the DIS. I don't know if that helps.

This is my second time renting points from the Dis. Last time we used them for AK kidani and no problems at all. This time for BLT, so far so good. The people we rented from have been great with taking care of the Magical Express and all other questions i've had.

Still not doing the laundry like I should be...

I just changed our flight (love the Southwest lets you change without a penalty) so that we are staying in Florida for a few extra days at the end. We plan on visiting several cities and enjoying the beaches a bit.

I still could not bring myself to pay the price difference to change the beginning flight so we are still arriving late the night before the cruise. So now I have a couple of questions.....

Who has stayed at the Hyatt hotel in the airport? Is it worth the price?

Has anyone taken the Disney transfer bus from the airport to the port? We would want to be on the first bus and I had read that you actually do part of the check in process right at the airport as well as get your boarding number. Anyone have experience with this?

Our other option is to do a one-day car rental, drive to a hotel near port and stay there, have DH drop me off at port EARLY before he returns the car and then have him take the shuttle back to port.

We have not done the online check in yet because I have not paid in full yet (plan on doing that this week) so I know our check in time is going to be late. I don't know if we are going to try for Palo but I want to get on board to enjoy the ship.

Okay....I am really going to go do laundry NOW!

Boo hoo -- Steve and I are sitting at MCO waiting for our flight home. Though we missed the twins, we had a dreamy time on the Dream. It is an incredible ship! I'll report back with more details tomorrow. Just know that the ship gets a huge thumbs up from me!!!!

Ooo not sure what to say but this is my 5000th posting on the dis

Actually just wondered if in anyones research they have come across any adult activities on the Dream. On the magic there used to be cookery demo's and a galley tour - not sure if they have anything similar on the dream?

Lol I was looking at a recent navigator and it mentioned yoga on serenity bay - It got me thinking - I wonder how busy SB will be?

It is my most favourite place on earth dh and I love to snorkel and read a book there. I can't wait to visit it twice in cruise

We'll be right there with you on Serenity Bay, have never had the opportunity to go there until now. Save us a lounge chair LOL
