Hi everyone
I had been booked on the Dream since November 2009 and I wasn't sure if we were coming or not but delta suddenly dropped their airfare down by 40% yesterday. So here I am.
I'll be travelling with my DD14 Aleah and DM Beatrice. We're staying in cat 6A.
I'd love to be part of the FE group too.
Precruise we're staying at the Board Walk villas for a few days. DD14 wants to stay at Universal though so we do the Harry potter. DM wants to stay at Old Key West Villas forever. Decisions, decisions

Just booked our pre cruise room at Beach Club! I can't wait, we're finally staying delux baby!!! We've stayed in every value and moderate so now we're up to the deluxes. Now does anyone have a second job I could take to pay for this?

We are staying there pre-cruise, too! Can't wait as we haven't stayed there yet!

Wanna stay at the deluxe resorts more? Check out DVC!! It has enabled us to do just that!

HARRY : We are still celebrating 150 years of having been a united country !!!
In fact on March 17th 1861 Italy became indipendent as kingdom ruled by the Savoia family !!
Though now MANY people would want our Italy to become a federation ...
we are very proud of our past : names like Garibaldi or Mazzini are very dear to our heart !!!

We are staying there pre-cruise, too! Can't wait as we haven't stayed there yet!

Add us to the list too! We'll be at the pool Sunday and Monday then head to Country Inns Monday night so we can wake up at the port and head to the boat by 10 am

Race day here today. Can't believe this is the 2nd time this race has come around since this group has been together?!? Time flies, right?!

Had a good race today as well. Personal best for my current age bracket - sucks getting old, too!!

Spring cleaning has begun here. Tonight, when the kids went to bed Bruce and I tackled the basement playroom. WOW, 8 bags of toys went out tonight!!

Our HAPPY BIRTHDAY ITALY celebrations are coming to an end ;

my father had tears in his eyes when we saw LE FRECCE AZZURRE ( our air force ) flying high in the sky showing our flag colours !!
It has been nice ............. once in a while ................. to be proud of being Italian !!!

Well, we're back from WDW... back to reality (sigh) and all the work that has piled up while we were gone!

We had a lovely relaxing time at AKL and the weather was just perfect. If you are ever staying at AKL, I highly recommend the Wanyama safari--it was awesome! The AKL animal keepers take you all over the AKL savannahs on an open-air truck with only ~12 people, and then you get a meal/wine pairing at Jiko afterwards. It's only available to AKL guests, and it was well worth it.

The parks were really, really busy. It was definitely spring break season. Unfortunately, it seemed as if a lot of the guests were not prepared for the crowds or didn't have a good WDW plan (perhaps a lot of people who hadn't been there before or recently), which made it a little more difficult, as they were often confused and frustrated. We packed our patience and had a relaxing trip.

On our way home, our plane's landing gear wouldn't go up, so we had to detour back to Orlando... too bad they had another plane ready to take us, or we may have snuck in another day of FL sun!

Now I can focus on cruise planning!

Hi Everyone! My family and I have been booked on this cruise since the day it was available to be booked, back in November '09. It is the first Disney cruise for DH and I, and our kids' first cruise, ever. Our daughter will turn 8 on August 14th, and our son will be 6 on August 5th. We will be at the Beach Club Villas for 6 nights before the cruise. We are in a category 5A cabin. I really want to fly home the day the cruise ends, but right now airfare is crazy high for that day, so I'm waiting to book in the hopes it comes down. If it doesn't, we'll head to Kidani Village for the night and fly home the next day.

We are very excited for our first DCL cruise, and would love any tips and/or advice from the veteran cruisers. DH and I haven't been on a ship in over 9 years, so we feel like complete newbies. Thanks for any help you may have for us.
